1. You can't be earning double salary (senator salary)
2. You can't earn above the multiples of the minimum wage you've been paying

The main question is: are we supposed to pay ex-political leaders anything at all?

Even if we choose give an appreciation package, is it an amount greater than a civil servants salary plus gratuity after 35 years of service?

A Senator makes N4 billion in one 4 year tenor, why pay him severance/gratuity? Is he not supposed to be a representative of his people working for next to nothing?

Is 4 years of work ENOUGH to get LIFETIME gratuity?

We should fight this law, BUT, the people to fight it are the ones meant to enjoy it!!!
