Fed govt can not do anything. Karma is bitch. They started it and we are all dancing to the music. They can not do nadda. It's empty threat. They insult Jonathan but don't want payback it's a lie. It won't work. No one fears you anymore. To silent us it's impossible.

Re: Stop Disrespecting Buhari, Nigerian Government Warns Media by kokomilala(m):
@blacknp, yes.But this government is becoming notorious for trying to gaggle the press. Why did they try to censor AIT's Political Platform? A programme that's very balanced in its delivery? The list endless.
In a liberal state, freedom of speech and press freedom are not censored by the government. In fact, the government can seek redress in court if any individual oversteps their bounds.
And to say that people are using the agency of propaganda against the government is disingenuous of you. It's the government that's trying to weep up its citizens in a frenzy of hysteria, using state media and other government agencies to hector people to silence It tried to censor social media, if you recall. It arrested and detained some journalists without trial for long periods...

The president of Nigeria must go to school amd have certificate to show for it and not a controversial WAEC certificate that cannot be verified. If this were someone else they wont allow him to get near that position.

So we cannot give constructive criticism to the government again?? America Trump always get insulted on daily basis but it doesn't distract him from sending missile to Pakistan. This speech alone has contradicted freedom of speech and expression.
Trump is a wrong example. With all his dirty rants in twitter.

Which Nigerians abroad? No disrespect but in all honesty speaking, you sound like someone with a low faculty wey never enter aeroplane before?
Well here's the problem with jerks like you who are half educated and imagine that they are acquainted with the world - you can hardly even read. If you would step back and go back and read what I wrote you will see that I did not refer to the insult or denigration of "Nigerians abroad" as you have hastily and carelessly inferred. I referred to the President's well recorded habit of denigrating Nigeria with his remarks whilst on his foreign trips - and that is very well catalogued, thank you very much.

So please do learn to at least read before you shoot your mouth, Juvenile.

Interesting
During GEJ tenure, Channels TV and TVC most times did not respect him.
FG, should not dictate, but govern right.

That Punch editorial really hit them hard.
That editorial should be archived and thought in mass communication/journalism classes round Nigeria. You can't get tired of reading it if you truly believe in a better Nigeria.
Punch for several years has been the standard of journalism in Nigeria and its views carry enormous weight.
which editorial is that and what was it on?

When some media houses are paid agents working against PMB, it is only expected that they will say anything to paint him black before the nation, twisting his words, using it against him, to villainage him before the the entire nation. Well, not all Nigerians can easily be swayed by what's written, thankfully, we can think for ourselves
