Earlier today, we reported that Cardi B who turned up for the New York Fashion Week show with her husband, Offset, attacked Nicki Minaj at the event.

However from the statement Cardi B released, it seemed the fight came off after Nicki Minaj commented on her abilities to take care of her daughter, Kulture. Cardi B went further to disclose that Nicki Minaj had threatened to stop working with other artistes in the industry who worked with her.

According to her, Nicki Minaj has eaten up other artistes but that won't happen to her because she worked so hard to get to where she is now. Read her statement below;

Cardi B was seen in the video wearing a Dolce & Gabbana floor length, red ruffled gown, lunge towards Nicki, before being pulled back by multiple bodyguards. It’s not clear exactly what the two were saying, but multiple people can be heard yelling “woah, woah, woah!”

Cosmopolitan reports that Cardi left the party with a torn dress, and photos show a lump on her face. Videos show Nicki posing for photos before leaving in a car. TMZ reports that Cardi lost a shoe in the incident, which she reportedly threw at Nicki.

The night marked the fifth annual #BAZAARICONS party, where the likes of Lady Gaga and The Weeknd had performed. Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid walked the carpet tonight shortly before the fight started. A crowd of party-goers were upstairs waiting to watch a performance by Christina Aguilera when the fight broke out.

The trio of Nicki Minaj, Cardi B and Kendall Jenner were all in New York for the fashion event, and it was gathered that they kept their distance from each other amid some recent drama.

There were allegations of Cardi B dissing Nicki Minaj on her song snippet at a VMA After Party where she rapped: “‘I know how to do it / Get a bag, don’t I / I know how to get a bitch mad.” This came after Cardi B got called out by the Chun Li crooner, in an interview with with Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show.
