Bros, the issue is that as laudable as feeding the school children and giving out money to traders are, they shouldn't be done with borrowed funds. You don't borrow money and squander, otherwise you won't be able to repay. You borrow and invest in profitable ventures that when they start yielding profits, you can easily repay your debts. That's the problem with APC government's borrowing. It's better to empower the people, then they can feed themselves and their children.

How many jobs lost between then and now?
How many states are owing salaries as at today?
What was the cost of rent compared to now?
Transportation cost?
How many parents can afford fees today?

Sound economic policies makes life easier, can you substitute the cost of the itemized above for N35 meal given to a child who may not even be in school as the parents can no longer afford the fees?

May be your dull skull hasn't realized government is not a wealth redistribution conduit to some religiously brainwashed poor potential voters but owes everybody social amenities in return. Same government charging excess JAMB fee and maintaining it against public outcry from admission seekers in most admission seeking regions is trying to maintain a loose social welfare scheme and some goats are here supporting clear evil.
They even tag some of the scheme cash transfer to remind evil souls like you what the scheme is meant to perpetrate and you are cool with all those.

here comes the BMC crew with their usual rants. Everything is wrong with budgeting #50 for a plate of food in 2018,( probably more was budgeted and collected by the APC politicians) the least they can budget for a healthy meal is #300 anywhere in Nigeria.
