When we talk about racism in Africa, Libya and South Africa comes to mind. These two countries practice racial discrimination even against their fellow Africans.
Racism in Africa is multi-faceted and dates back several centuries. It is a phenomenon that may have been strengthened by European colonialism , under which boundaries were drawn that did not take into consideration the different peoples dwelling within the newly formed provinces. The boundaries were little changed when former European colonies gained independence. As a consequence, some African nations have been plagued with inner conflicts, racist attitudes and tribal warfare.

LMFAO, this is a dumb thread , how many African countries have different races to begin with? . The topic should have been " top 5 most tribalistic countries in Africa " , that would have made more sense since Africa doesn't have many countries with multi racial societies, only about 4 out of 54 countries .

Nearly the entire North Africa is at least biracial.
South Africa also has a huge white population.

I get it bro , but I thought I would point you to my original post which stated that there is about 4 countries that can qualify as multi racial ( a significant number of all races ) in Africa. Hence I said Africa as a whole shouldn't really concern itself with racial hatred, when in most parts of Africa it's unheard of compared to the black on black hatred that is rampant within the 50 or so countries .

The only problem you have is rushing to comment. For instance, all North Africa countries claims their not African. Those countries up there are biracial, do you think is like Nigeria?

I think you are guilty of what you are accusing me of. Go back and read my comment, nowhere did I claim all African countries are like naija, but most are . So instead of focussing on something that is the least problem in Africa, perhaps we should focus on more on out biggest and most stupid form of hatred and discrimination "tribalism ".
