grin grin grin

March next year is not far...may God spare our lives beyond next year...But i am telling you that Akinlade will win d entire Ogun Central...He win atleast 3 of d 5 LGs in Ogun West (Ado/Odo, Yewa South and Ipokia LG...maybe even Yewa North.. who knows)...That's already 9 LGs in d bag...APC will win atleat 3 LGs in Ogun East...Then its game over.

The main reason why GNI can't win is simple...his party is weak in Ogun and he doesn't have d financial muscle to build structures for d party across d State...Obj has no political strength in Ogun politics and won't even give anybody his money to run for office.

As for Adebutu, he is a Remo man and not an Ijebu man...Ijebus want an Ijebu man as Governor not someone from Remo again after Daniel who came out thru d same Remo...another factor would be d ouster of Kashamu from PDP...if he's not pacified in PDP he may just play d spoiler...now i am hearing that Bimbo Ashiru as just resigned from d Amosun government...meaning he will run as an Ijebu man most certainly on another political platform...technically he can't win but he will weaken Adebutu in Ogun East.

Ordinarily Triple A has not political clout for now to win even Ogun West Senatorial ticket...But with Amosun on a Senatorial ticketat d Central and his achievements in d district ...plus d political platform, APC...Akinlade is good to go.

It won't be easy...a lot of work still need to be done by Amosun to close ranks with d aggrieved and sell his candidature to d Ogun voters but it will be a close guber race sha.
thank you for being civil in your reply not like those dumb online paid miscreants who think anyone against them is pdp. I agree with your assertions, but to what end? another cabal in ogun? I hope people will wake up and do what is right

I know Yorubas claim to be 'tolerant', but we should not push that into inconsiderate levels. Ibikunle is Muslim, his successor should be Christian, FULL STOP. Please don't bring that competence bullsheet here, Ambode replaced Fashola and we are not complaining.
Here in Ogun, we don't play the religion card...that's why u will never hear of a Muslim- Christian clash in d State...and for ur information, Ogun State has had four democratically elected Govs...d 1st 3 were Christian and Amosun is d 1st Muslim to govern d State...even all d Military administrations but 3 of d 12 were Christians..so religion doesn't matter in our State...we look at d individual and d party...chikena.

I am a Yewa man...personally, i would have preferred GNI...but his platform is very weak...so voting for him is like just wasting my vote...so to me...Akinlade is d best bet for my people to produce d Gov for d 1st time since forever...and might be our best chance in d near future.

Though Amosun is not perfect and has really not bn too good to d civil servants in d State...but he's d best Gov to ever govern d State...with d current price of crude oil, fed allocation and IGR, it will be difficult for anyone to balance infrastructural development in d a state like ours and keep d Civil Servants 100% happy...not that i am supporting d months of deduction he's owing ( after all my mom is a Civil Servant too and nearing her retirement), but d fact that he's able to do dis much is good enough for me...it could have bn worse u know...he probably could have pocketed d monies and still be owing salaries....We are already losing grounds on infrastructural development as a country...and we in Ogun needs it to take advantage of d overflowing population of Lagos.

So to me, voting a certain PDP that is known for sharing money will affect infrastructural revolution d State is currently enjoying...so continuity is d way to go.

Though political cabals are usually seen as a bad thing in Nigeria...but it could as well be a good thing...Take Lagos as an example, d Tinubu-led cabal and continuity in governance under APC is d reason why Lagos is moving at d pace it is moving...it could be d same with Ogun with a performing Amosun...because to me, having someone to put u in check keeps u on ur toes to perform in office...unlike those have no one pushing them.

Note: this is strictly my own viewpoint and i totally respect urs 100%...after all we all for a better Ogun State.

You are right with your analysis. But I hate the idea of an Amosun-led cabal, Ogun State had always been changing hands from party and I'm secretly hoping something good can happen here although i must admit things look bleak and Amosun has turned himself into an Emperor. How I wished PDP was a cohesive opposition it would have been easy to defeat this triple A guy

Well, March is still a long way out...let's see if Daniel, Kashamu and Adebutu can collapse their structures...d only way out for them, i don't know...Daniel wants d Senatorial ticket...Adebutu and Kashamu wants d Gov ticket...whether they will be able to reach a compromise remains to be seen...their coming together is d only way to give APC any wahala next year.

That's almost impossible grin...the egos involved are too big... besides it is better that Akinlade rule than kashamu drug dealer...... Ijebu people dont like Ladi like that, they will prefer a proper ijebu person. where did GNI get it wrong? this is supposed to be his time but I guess it was never meant to be

lol

Kashamu...trying to imagine him as our Gov...oh my God... grin

Ladi will have a lot of trouble convincing d Ijebus to support him...because if they support another Remo man now...they might not present a Gov in d next 16 years or more.

I learnt Amosun and some Ogun West leaders tried to make GNI decamp to APC after d 2015 elections, but he was playing chess with them...i don't know what he was thinking...if he had decamped he probably wld be their candidate now....but like u said, maybe "it was never meant to be".
