LEGAL ADVICE TO SUE JIJI For Emotional Distress by jmaxjohn(m): 11:24pm On Sep 11, 2018
It is unheard of that a service that claims to promote entrepreneurs relies on BUYER IMPERSONATION (IMPERSONATING A BUYER) to filter out scam sellers.
I registered my first account on jiji and uploaded some things in my possession to sell, things i both own and was given the authority to sell.
Within hours of uploading, i received a call from a 'buyer', while explaining to the said buyer with the number 07080659009 and requesting for some patience to verify information on the product asked, he hung up on me.

After verification of the requested product, all efforts to reach the buyer was abortive as if my number was blocked.
Few hours later, my account got banned on jiji. This has caused me untold emotional distress and major loss of money.

This is a wakeup call to the public, to AIRTEL Nigeria who clearly facilitate and aid such disturbing act by jiji, and to jiji that I'm coming for them, and AIRTEL, with a legal case unless my account is unbanned.
The emotional distress within the last couple of hours has been mind wrecking, considering that my EMAIL ADDRESS got BANNED TOO by jiji, meaning i cannot even send VERIFIABLE IDs to have my account unbanned by DUE PROCESS.

NOTHING I UPLOADED WAS SUSPICIOUS
NOTHING I UPLOADED HAS SUSPICIOUS OR HIKED PRICES
AND I DID NOT REQUEST FOR PREPAYMENT OF A SERVICE FROM ANYONE

This seems to be a common act by jiji as i have read up several complaints from several banned users of the service.
I need legal advice from lawyers on this platform to go about this.

THIS ENDS. AND NO, I WILL NOT BE LIKE OTHER USERS OF THEIR SERVICE AND WASTE ANOTHER EMAIL PLUS PRECIOUS TIME JUST TO REGISTER AGAIN ON THAT DISGUSTING PLATFORM

THE RUBBISH NIGERIANS GO THROUGH IN NIGERIA HAS BECOME TOO MUCH. IT ENDS!

This is Nigeria...

Ask ypurself the following questions and answer them truthfully... this will determine whether or not you should Sue jiji. Emotional distress??

1. Do you have the financial wherewithal?
2. Do you have excess time on your hands considering you are a business mind or let me assume so?
3. Did you read their terms and conditions of usage ?
4. If you did, do you have a comprehensive upstanding of their T & S?
5. Who is a witness to your emotional distress that you went through?
6. If no witness, what is the proof that you really went through an emotional distress because your account was banned (the law deals with facts and not assumptions)
7. How can we determine how much is a "major loss" considering you recently registered on the platform?
8. How can we verify you are not a scam?
9.what proof do you have that airtel facilitates the act?
10. If no proofs, can you get proof that they do?

If you honestly answer these questions, then you alone know the next step to take that will be favorable to you and your business.

Get a hold of your emotions, Jiji is not the only platform you can sell your goods.
