In as much as I love Ambode to come back for 2nd term, I will not support his act of altering the plan of Lagos that has been established.There is no problem in adjusting the plan but don't change it totally. If he is doing this, that means he's not progressive. The point raised by Asiwaju here is very vital and as a leader he cannot open his eyes for someone to rubbish his legacy.
Remember Fashola changed the plan of Oshodi to Abeokuta road which you are trying to correct now, but money spent by Fashola on the road became wasted. If all succeeding government in Lagos are just changing plans without follow the guidelines laid, then Lagos will not be fast progressive as we hope for.
I will implore to Asiwaju of Lagos to please perdon him and try to caution him without exiting him now. He can still amend his way.
For Ambode, don't think you want to go and form boss and antagonize Asiwaju, in fact you can't achieve it. If you think so - Ask Fashola, Obanikoro, Bode Gorge. You will just go into relegation sharp sharp. Asiwaju is a grassroots politician that has his base intact. In fact not only all 57 chairmen will fight you. Forget that you are a governor, you still have a leader who people are loyal to

Ambode has offended a lot of party leaders and they are not ready to forgive him. Even Tinubu can't manage the situation anymore because it is beyond him now. This is a party issue, it is not a Tinubu-Ambode fight.
If you know the number of families Tinubu has helped in Lagos (Hausas, Ibos, Yoruba), you will understand why many are loyal to him. That loyalty is what you guys call power. Go to Alausa and ask about him!

Fashola's case is different. Fashola is a spender too. Took care of civil servant and funded the party very well. Just little issue and he begged, I mean, he begged very well. Ambode is still begging sha just that he has lots of people to beg.

Even if ambode will be allow to recontest , he should be made to pay for all what he has done silently in the civil service without people knowing, he collapse LAWMA, bringing in Epe people from abroad to head key agencies like LSWC, siphoning revenue without recurrence to those who labour for him..awarding contract those firms he has interest . even if he is going to governed d second time, he should be shaking for him to know the relevance of people.

Orji Uzor with his wealth and influence even before politics couldn't do it in Abia, he was brushed aside, can't even win a senatorial Seat, Peter Obi with his wealth before politics couldn't do it, The Ubas couldn't neither . Rochas dreaming of it in Imo knows that he will fail woefully at the end. But in Yoruba you have the Sarakis, Tinubu, Adedibu in Oyo until his death and some others. This is not about Godfatherism. Only if Abode had performed ,all these won't come to play. Ambode was more loyal than Fashola and he thought that alone could earn him the 2nd term ticket. Unfortunately, he didn't perform and fielding him as APC candidate might cause APC the governorship ticket.

When peoplecompare Tinubu to Adedibu, I just laugh. I dont like him, but if you have ever been to one of the weekly meetings of Tinubu's mandate group, you would understand. There are taxi drivers, bricklayers etc that are die-hard APC members; as I heard, as lowly as they are, they get priority in getting jobs on state projects e.g. the bricklayers only have to show their membership cards to get work on a building site. For a Godfather to successfully exist, and thrive, he must have a legion of loyal followers whose interests are also being protected.
