Barring last minutes change of plans, the embattled Governor of Lagos state may be switching over to The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP latest by next week.



Ambode, who is facing the battle of his life with his godfather, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is the leader of the party, is reportedly exploring all possible options should the mediation from party elders fail.



IGBERE TV had reported that 57 Lagos state LGA Chairman who are loyal to Tinubu few days ago endorsed Jide, a hardcore Tinubu loyalist, as the next governor of the state, contrary to the alleged agreement between Ambode and Tinubu to support Ambode’s second term ambition.
