Covenant University expulsion saga: Effanga Marilyn confirms she had sex with Adooh Emmanuel

Few days back, Adooh Emmanuel took to Twitter to reveal that he has won a court case against Covenant university, after he was expelled unjustly.

The reason of his expulsion according to his post was sexual misconduct with Effanga Marilyn, which he vehemently denied.

Well, as the story takes another twist on Twitter, Effanga Marilyn has come out to verify that she actually had sex with Adooh Emmanuel as she shed more light on the case.

Taking to the social media platform, she wrote;

Hello everyone
I’ve been quiet about this whole situation for way too long
It took a while for me to do this, but I won’t sit down and let my name and that of innocent people be dragged into the mud for no reason

To me, the sex happened BTW two consenting adults.

And I don't think it happened within the confines of CU territory.

So, CU has no case expelling him in the first case, when the issue of rape wasn't reported.

I feel CU is saving face, by compelling the student to say this.

Even if true, CU still has no case, cos its BTW two adults,except it's stated in their handbook that sex mustn't happen BTW two students as long as they are still student, even at that, this is infringement on them

I remember those days in law school.. cases like this will be termed “não Victoria não conta de sul” because the jury will be confused on what judgment to pass, whether to recall the judgement or move a motion of appeal..

PS; I don’t know the meaning of what I wrote up there either,.. I’ve always admired lawyers though
