I wonder how the institution plans to secure the bvn data of students against fraudsters especially in the near to the distant future.

A biometric registration would have been adequate for their use imo.

If the universities in your backward region have got half the IQ of the administrators of the prestigious UNN , they would be looking to implement it as soon as possible.

It is a sure fire way of verifying identities at cheaper cost to the school.

How will you know anyway? Intelligence is not in your family line.

My brother, no matter how u want to defend this, the issue people are having is due to the fact that over 95% of our security heads are from one region.

That alone can cause war. Other regions may feel shorchanged and threatened.. Our security structures shouldn't be left in the hands of one region..

The school know what they are doing. BVN is the most reliable form of identification in Nigeria today, this is because it is biometric. Giving someone your BVN does not endanger your funds in any way. BVN is not ATM card number or card PIN.

People ain't complaining about marginalisation because bichi was appointed dss director, but because over 90% of the security chief in the nation is from the north, the notion of ONE Nigeria is a fisco.
