There has been a countless prayer request circulated on social media asking us to pray for the church in Iraq, Iran and recently China. But I'm just confused as to why Christ, the owner of the church will overlook it and allow the persecutions until we pray. do we really need to remind him of what belongs to him before he takes care of it?

Don't you religious folk pray for anything, good jobs, good husband/wife, safe journey, pray to thank God that you woke up in the morning, pray before you go to bed, pray before you start work, pray before you eat your food, pray that you will see money today, pray for your tithes, pray that thief no go enter your house, pray that your still alive even though thief enter your house and rob rape etc but your still alive, pray aftter thief thief youir keke wound you in the process and your still alive, pray that you reached home safely after trekking from oshodi to mile 2 because you had no transport money and born again downfo driver no gree carry for free, pray that you have job even though your born again oga is owing you three months salary & no gree pay you because there's nothing you can do.
