The voguing trend this days is the bastardization of government solidarity groups.
One of the by-product of such ignominious trend is the equally ignominious UGWUANYI PRAYER GROUP.
Perhaps the group is saddled with the responsibility of praying away the governor's sins, securing the vicinity of the Lion building from witches and wizards, praying for the teeming dissident voices of the government to have a change of heart, purifying the various election materials with spiritual materials like incense, olive oil and holy waters.

Of course prayer has been traditionally said to be the master key, with which to access anything and anywhere.
The yardstick however remains the pious state of the prayer warriors and that of the beneficiary for it's written in the scripture that the prayer of the unrighteous is nothing but a mere noise to the ears of the Almighty.

Let's read from the scripture for clarity purpose:
John 9:31
We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him.
Proverbs 28:9
If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.
1 Peter 3:12
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

Having scripturally proven that the prayer of the unrighteous is nothing but a mere noise to the ears of the Almighty, let's examine the pious state of the prayer warriors and that of the beneficiary.
The fact that the prayer groups only exists during election period casts a huge doubt on their genuineness of intent.
Their action is more or less that of a sycophant looking to to cash in on government desperation for power.

Now to the beneficiary, being nepotistic and orchestrating the highest form of segregation in the history of Enugu state is a 'bigger sin' on it's own, thus disqualifies him from the category of men with answerable prayers.
Let it be known that marginalization and incompetence are sins before the Almighty.

Marginalization and incompetence leads to a dearth of infrastructure such as hospitals and in extension, lack of access to quality healthcare.
Lack of access to quality healthcare is automatically a recipe for child mortality, deaths and general health complications.
The Almighty has proven to be a God of justice.
So any leader with a record of injustice, partiality, marginalization and favoritism has already sinned and automatically come short of glory of God.
