It's not that easy na. I mean see how IELTS is dealing with people who have been speaking English all their lives. How much more a language you only know two words in?
true, but it's worth the try. people have tried writing it. remember you don't have to ace it

Letter of Explanation (Sample)
Under some circumstances, candidates may need to add an Letter of Explanation (LoE) to their application. This can result from a missing document that could not be provided, an incoherence that might jump to the attention of the immigration officer reviewing your case, etc.

The LoE is also your way of communicating to immigration officers any supplementary information that is not on the documents uploaded and that you deem important for them to know.

Where to add the Letter of Explanation (LoE) ?
As there are multiple sections for uploading documents (Passport, Education, Proof of Work Experience, Medical Exam, etc.), you are only given the choice of uploading one PDF document (under 4MB) per section. This means that you need to write a LoE for each section (if needed of course), and add it to the rest of the documents relating to said section.

For example, if you are missing your Diploma because it has been lost, write a LoE explaining what happened and why you could not provide the Diploma, add it to the rest of the documents (WES report, transcripts, etc.) to form one PDF file. Then upload the PDF file in the Proof of Studies section.

We strongly advise you to put the LoE at the beginning of the PDF file. This ensures that the immigration officer reads the LoE first, and then goes on to the other documents attached to the LoE (if there are any).

If you cannot provide the documents per IRCC's requirements, we recommend that you add any other document that you can think of that would make the immigration officer believe that you are acting in good faith. To come back to the missing Diploma example, you can add a police report and/or a school receipt attesting that you have asked for a duplicate.

None as far as I know. Your Nigerian drivers license does the needful. The IDL is only valid as long as your normal license is valid anyway.
Ok thanks a lot

Hello Fam,

So I brought a certain issue here sometimes ago where a friend had mistakenly filled in 3 years as his work experience whereas he had just 2 years and 10 months. I made it clear that such mistake occurred while he was filling his questionnaires and was also carried over when he submitted his application.

Advises and contributions came in from many people on this thread and I must say that every contributions were helpful. Thank you all. However, I would like to point our attentions to something I noticed generally on this thread, while just few of the people that contributed to this issues looked at it from the angle of possible mistake that it was and suggested a likely way out, many people already castigated the applicant and concluded it was just an attempt to cheat the system and therefore said we can only expect automatic rejection and a possible ban.

Interestingly, such mindset is not something that is only peculiar to this thread or website, but something that we see and experience every other day as Nigerians. We see one another as potential criminals, we do not give ourselves any benefit of doubt before we run into conclusion about people's integrity or personality. I think we can definitely do better in that regards, let always remember that not everyone is a criminal, not everyone want to cheat the system, not everyone want to "scam" us.

Anyways back to the issue, so almost everyone suggested the best we could do was to withdraw the application since we already saw on his GCMS file that the analyst had stated that with 2 years & 8 months, his CRS points had dropped below the required point for ITA and would therefore required a further review, but I still felt withdrawal won't be the best thing. So at the end of the day, we immediately raised a case enquiry to explain everything and then order another GCMS file about a month later (around July) which hasn't come out btw. We didnt hear anything from them since that time.

Lo and behold, we woke up to a PPR mail yesterday and it was one of the greatest news. My friend at a point wanted to withdraw at all cost but I still firmly disagreed and I'm sure he had only obliged because he probably feel I can only wish him well after all.

So in conclusion, what I learned from this whole thing is that PATIENCE IS VIRTUE all the times.

ITA: Dec 2017

AOR: Jan 31

IP1: Feb 12

PPR Sept 17

Thank you all.

Outcome of restricted access to medicals in Nigeria. People should stay woke and always plan ahead. If the number of panel physicians doesn't increase again, the waitlist will keep going up. Last month wait-time for Qlife was 4wks now it is 5wks.

Lol. This is Nigeria.

The PPR is for your friend, right? Congrats to him.

Hopefully when he gets the gcms notes, you will update us on the final evaluation of his work experience and his CRS score and the notes made by agents/officers.

okay, perfect. I understand now. Please can we talk in private. I want to find out the steps to take. Also, I may not need to evaluate the bsc if iqas gives me two certificate for evaluation since that is the highest I can get because wes won't give me professional degree which is the next ranking
Since we've been seeing your comments lately, If I were you, this I'd do:
Use the CRS tool to calculate your points for different evaluations. i.e. 1. if you use your BNSc and your score is ≥440, you're good to go with WES and the stress it may bring. I didn't say ICES because I don't know what they evaluate ANYTHING Nursing as, but it's worth a shot to evaluate with ICES due to their ACcaimed processing speed by users but DISclaimed by them. If your CRS score is less than 440, try option 2 (at the expense of time, with IQAS)
2. If you use two or more certificates in your CRS tool, and your score is ≥440 use IQAS, because they evaluate your RN and RPhn as two certificates. I didn't say ICES again because of the reason stated above.
Generally, two or more certificates give you more point than BNSc alone, but for time, WES and ICES are faster than IQAS.
Use IQAS ONLY if you need to cross to 440.

IQAS is a 'notorious time waster.' Read a post by Shyee to get more insight about evaluating nursing degrees.
Notorious indeed.

They can be really annoying. Are you male or female?

If male, They will also require a passport photo from you and insist you put on a tie in it.

You’ll also need to write a letter apart from that from WES requesting for your transcript.

Hope this helps.

My good people, please I need help with a little worry I am currently nursing. The input of lawyers especially would be highly appreciated.

I have a birth certificate that I have been using all my life. For some reasons best known to 'kiddie' me at the time I began to write my name in another dialect (same meaning, just a letter was different e.g Micheal/Mikheal). Now all my documents bear the same name except my birth certificate that has a letter different from other documents. I have never given this a serious thought up till now.

So what do I do so I can sleep well when the time comes (na just documents I still dey gather as ITA never show but soon by God's grace)

1. Do I use a sworn affidavit of declaration of age instead of my birth certificate? (I already have it, used it when I was filling my e-dividend forms last year, I did not want long stories)
2. Get a one and the same person affidavit and combine it with my birth certificate?

Note: this is not about my date of birth bikonu, my DOB has always been the same on all my documents even the hospital certificate na the same, plus including my father's memory certificate.... lol

Thanks as I await your responses.

I would say go for option 2. It will look more authentic. Besides, why do you need your birth certificate?

Best bet - Print your 6months SOA
However, people have printed those transaction dates/pages only (especially if its 100%) and highlighted with a marker on the statement just to guide the analyst plus bank reference letter and LOE&Gift deed. But, I would advice u print SOA for 6 months if in your case its not 100%, so they see source of your other income that make up the POF.

Best wishes

You don't need birth certificate unless you are claiming points for having a sibling in Canada.
