I’m new to this Canada stuff but I applied for a visitor Canada visitor for the past few months but my agent just called last week to tell me I’ve be granted my visa with the visa and my name boldly written. But am concerned because I didn’t go for any biometrics and I got my visitors visa. Please is this real?

Please I need your help in the house.. I have a two years visa already stated for 10/08/2018 and expire by same time next two years. Am I going to be having my biometrics at the port of entry orbrfore traveling? Please I need people to shade more light on this for me.

[Your question is somehow confusing there is no way you will apply for TRV without doing biometrics before your application is sent..unless you have done biometrics before in your previous application! Haaa... This is not possible.. You must do beometric with the Capturing at the canadian embassy before they will start processing your application.

How did you know the agent?? How much did you pay the agent ?? Could you snap the visa and send it here? Sorry to say this ,,, YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED

THE AGENT GAVE YOU OLUWOYE VISA AND YOU WILL HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL BECAUSE THE FAKE VISA CAN SEND U TO JAIL.

Please be very sure of what you have with you. Except if you have an expired Canada visa then you don’t need to do biometrics but if you are just applying for the first time you need to do biometrics and capturing before you can get your visa approved.

Unless they have had their biometrics taken previously, and that this their application was submitted after July 31, 2018. Else, they are in for a long thing methinks.... Was it online or paper route if I may ask? This is to enable one advise them on a quick way to verify the veracity of whatever this is!

Yes, he is legit, that's if it's the real "him" you are in touch with. But then, There's hardly anything Cohen can offer for a fee that you cannot glean from nairaland threads and go make a success from.

we have checked severally... but no change in status update for weeks now. its showing "SUBMITTED"in the Current Status... what do you suggest i do?

in the spirit of giving back, i have been a silent reader for awhile now,

i submitted my application on 29th of August, did biometrics 2016 for my first and visa was not approved.

Submitted 29th August paper route for myself and got email for passport collection on the 20th Of Sept,
Picked passport 21st September visa was approved.

6months account statement

Invitation Letter
Letter of purpose
flight reservation
employment letter
payslips for 4months
Consent letter for my toddler

and lastly Gods grace.

I was given tracking number to track my mum's temporary visa application but each time i check, it says no records found. submitted 3rd September,2018.

Are you checking from VFS? That won't work (if it's online application), till her passport gets to them. Check from your GCkey login side and monitor the application there.

Like i stated, VISA WAS APPROVED with the list of things i submitted, hubby served as a strong tie since he wasn't travelling with us.

You certainly do not need to hire an agent to help with your application. The application kit is laid out in a very easy to follow manner that should not be difficult at all to do by yourself. invest some time on CIC website and this forum then surely you will be able to apply on your own,you can always come back to this forum for help if you encounter difficulties while preparing your application.

Hello guys,

I am very much worried this days about this Canada ETA.

I see most agents are doing it for people and they are travelling with it .

The way they do it is what am worried about but I doubts if the applicant will be allowed entry in Canada by the border immigrations.

I tried even getting the ETA without success as a Nigeria will need USA Green card to apply for the ETA.

Even how they got flight boarding pass with it self still amaze me.

If any one here had similar experience that can help should kindly share
