Lost Between This Choices by Elbizzcklinz(m): 7:10am On Sep 21, 2018
Hello guys, looking for your advice concerning this.

A friend of mine is currently working in a company where he earns 113,000 as net salary with pension fund provided, monthly meal allowance, dividend, monthly tea provision. HMO care.

And now he's lost between the choice of a Federal road safety work as an inspectorate Cadre (HND)
and his current job.

Should he resign and go for the FRSC work?
Who knows actually what FRSC pays, and the working condition?

The first question your friend needs to find an answer to is - Is he looking for safety, money or career growth?

The answer will determine the next course of action.

Is the current job in line with his career goals or he's not getting satisfaction from it?

yes. You are thinking that after the 35yrs, he will have the pension.

how many people do u hear collect their pension as at when due. change your mindset. he can work in a private sector, save and invest because he will be paid as at when due and he will have the opportunity to invest. instead of waiting for sept salary in Dec

Nice points, but I also need more concrete points to convince this guy.

But do you think Federal government owes workers salary like state government ?

I've talked to this guy, he keeps saying that there's more respect being a Federal road safety Corp Marshall.

He dream about being promoted to higher rank.

You're right, I read some good points their about the pension and gratuity. Though one hardly gets that.

But this company my friend works with comes with a pension fund account.

And dividend paid every six months because he's a full staff. Including the HMO care.
The company pays for lunch monthly plus monthly provisions package.
This guy saves up 100,000 every month.

His company is not far from his house.
He lives in the best area in Lagos
If he saves 100k three times, he can afford to pay his house rent in a year.

With all this
I don't know what else he wants...

tell him he z not wise. rank ko ranking ni... which stupid respect!!!

instead of him to remain where he is and keep improving career wise, he wants to stay on the road.

OK

I met the person in charge of FRSC won't mention the state, and I saw how young boiz where working as slaves in her farm, yes farm, they go to her house and they work for her. she told me straight to the face that is how they have to work after which they wear their uniform and go back to their duty post.

something is legally wrong with ur friend

lastly let him do his wish only to regret later
