I thought local government chairmen were chosen via elections. How can he sack them and "bring his own foot soldiers". Am i missing something?
Which election. It is the same manipulations. Sack them and end at court. After elections they can resolve. Tinubu needs to be cut to size. Lagos is not his estate. It doesn't make sense at all.

This is serious am suspecting huge fowl play here.
Its very rare to believe the whole chairmen in lagos will support one candidate, it very rare someone must hv pushed them.

So none of them is satisfied with what ambode is doing in lagos and gave no reason for not supporting him, simply means he didn't dsnce to there tunes.

Most of lagosians love ambode and he is one of the best working governors, he surely will have challenges, but its not even enough reason not to back him.
Nobody push anybody! What can you say of the achievement of Ambode so far? Spit them out,the ones he has commissioned within his first term. Ambode is failure. I'm always happy I didn't vote him.

The dude is right.

Tinubu should reimpose Ambode for the sake of APC.

Nobody knows Sanwo-Olu, despite being obviously supported by the party members over Ambode who looks certain to lose out in a very democratic direct primary.

Ambode will garner more votes of Lagosians than Sanwo-Olu will, most especially if opposition parties field credible and new candidates.

According to him, the voice of members of the party must be respected and the party National Leader, Bola Tinubu, had also spoken on respect for right of the members.

“We the leaders, must abide by the directive of the national leader and also respect the voices of the members of the party on preferred candidate.

Ambode is too weak for my liking. Why not call their bluff and man up? A whole sitting Governor has no control of chairmen under him. It is time to flex up, sack all these chairmen and bring your foot soldiers in. Dump the party and show your mettle. A sitting governor wields enormous powers. You are there whimpering like a kid. Too sad.

The LG chairmen are the voices and representatives of the grassroots, they are the mobilizers and the first recipients of grumblings and complaints by the electorates exactly, so what are you saying? Sack them and replace them with his own LG chairman? Is he going to replace them with his own electorates in the LG too?

In fact, are the LG people responsible for his incompetence including the horrible roads, mountains of refuse, chaotic traffic situation and increase in crime and violence that almost disappeared under his predecessors? Are they responsible for all the projects he abandoned and instead fixated on bus stops?

Why is it now Tinubu decided against endorsing him he's now the bad guy all of a sudden

It's now they know Lagos state is dirty, he is this, he is that...why now?

Had Tinubu given the green light to Ambode would we have seen pointing fingers or heard any accusations against him

Let his party members down or let Tinubu down?
For a people as “sharp” as lagosians, I’m surprised that they can’t see farther than their noses.
Ambode has transformed Epe from a swamp to a destination place. Me thinks he deserves a second chance but I’m no lagosian so there.

Second term because he transformed only Epe where he happens to claim as his constituency? What about the other Local Governments, what has he done there.

If you don't know, that is one of the offences against him. Look at the quality of roads in Epe and look at the poor quality of road he's building on the Lagos Abeokuta Expressway.
