I am not attempting to pre-empt or influence other peoples' perspective on this topic, however a close look at our electoral process over the last 3 years reveals an incredible improvement in the conduct of elections across the country. INEC for the first time seems to be getting things right from preparation to voting and to result announcement. When people say nothing has changed, I wonder if people are paying attention to this. What is your opinion? |

Transparency died when Buhari and his APC anti-democrats started using INEC as their Electoral tools. |

Thanks for the beautiful question. It has greatly improved. Our election is getting tougher to rig. And more people are now more polically aware due to the increase in trust of our political process. Our politicians are also getting wiser because they have realize for them to be re-elected there must be something they can point to the people that they have done. This is just 20 years of democratic dispensation i.e 5 election cycles has come and gone. Imagine 5 more election cycles. We can only go up. |

There hasn't been any improvements on what was obtainable during d 2015 elections... Infact d electoral process has actually regressed now with incidences of broad day light vote buying... Until a more transparent means of vote counting and recording is introduced then we are still stuck in ancient times.. The electoral process itself hasn't improved but d electorates are getting wiser.... D only way it can improve is for d electoral body itself to get wiser and start thinking of modern tools and systems |
