Stop talking trash

Poverty is no excuse for a society to be so so obsessed with quick cash

Yes those in poverty often strive to get a better life for themselves, or improve their lo, but the cut throat obsession for quick money is terrible amongst Nigerians especially

That is why the society is rotten

Poverty has been in our SOCIETY for a long tims; but at least our fathers back then still had honor and morals and said respect not to worship ill gotten money, nor were they desperate

But today, The youths have lost it.

That's the truth

You talk true sha, I don't encourage the point you are arguing against, but do you know my concern for asking the question, the reality or truth now is that no average family will go the extra mile of selling out their properties and stress themselves out to raise 5 million for one of their own to go do MSc and expect the person to just come back with certificate or paper home with no other achievement or value, that would amount to big shame to the person and family when he or she is back. There are other expectations and prayers your people have from you, common sense should tell you that. The only exception in this case is if you are from a very rich family and they just want you to get a western University cert to step up your profile for the jobs or programs they have saved for you.

Well, I don't think it's possible. My personal opinion though tongue...

Note it's part time job. Which kind of part time job will pay you 11€ an hour. I'm asking cause I'm also interested tongue...

Guys are not sincere to this man. How many of those immigrants working full time who are living there can save that amount in 2 years. Most of these menial jobs only pay minimum wages. Minimum wage per hour in Germany is like €8.50.
Moreso I don't know why the man is so desperate about making 10 million naira in 2 years. Our youth are so money hungry. More reasons they get involved in shady business

Stay home for your MSC then. Don't allow people to fool you. No way you can make 10 million naira in 2 years with your part time job. Even with full time, you have to be a professional to be able to save such amount (about €24000). Also you are a new comer to the system, you can't compare your 2 years to 2 years of someone who have been living in Germany for 10 years.

Your best bet is to repay back the money in a period of time after you have settled down.

Taxes and bills will take like 60 to 75 percent of your income

Even people working full time can’t make that amount in 5 yrs. you will eat, house rent, buy cloths, bus tikect, toiletries, pay about 40% tax, two Jobs=50 % tax.
If you over work yourself abroad with menial jobs, you may not even enjoy that money you are trying to make in good health later in future.
Don’t travel to make money, travel to have a better life.
With that 5m naira you are investing, it’s easier to double it to 10m in Nigeria within one year than anywhere in the world.

Money is not my priority, the good life and better education is, neither do I want to be a pauper after my schooling.

Anyway am not sure its possibe to make such an amount in that space of time with minial jobs.Family expectations can be managed The main question for me is can the block account fund if borrowed be repaid in a year.

Ok, but you won't actually blame anyone for derailing to that, some factors could warrant that. When a 30 years old bachelor wants to invest his family's 5 million to do Msc there, you won't blame him for asking such questions. Life is all business, you ask questions or make research before putting your money to any activity. Time is money d say, 2 years washing plate for a white man at that age with no reward to your pocket is to what gain. Anyway life is all risk sha

You can't save anything tangible cause you are mixing work and studies. The work you do here as a student are just part time jobs. Also note that you must have about 8000€ each time you want to renew your visa.

If you are looking to make 'quick money', then Germany is not for you...

Which countries then?

Of course I understand you very well, there are rules, and everyone follows it. But how many of the laid down laws do you know?
As a full-time worker, you get tax returns for setting up a home office, every year you are entitled to a pair of suits and shoes, and many more. Do you get to read that on official sites?
These are information you don't see because 1) it is written in the law, but not stated the way you can understand it. Read my previous post where I said, get a good tax adviser and you will be surprised with the information you will gain even as a Student
