hello fellow christian nairalanders. I'll try to make this as short as I can... Today is the feast of pentecost... Particularly significant to all Catholics... But my question goes to all Christ's believers... What really is speaking in tongues... From my perspective... This is an act in the spirit that enables you to speak in foreign languages... But what I see/hear in our churches today makes me wonder... 'what is the essence of speaking in strange languages that nobody in the congregation understands... 'Cos this wasn't the case during the time of the Apostles? |
