Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji, a former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly has denied reports that he purchased the governorship form of the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) for Governor Ambode to contest the 2019 election if the APC refuse him their ticket.

Speaking with our correspondent, Ikuforiji who described the rumour as the handiwork of mischief makers said those spreading the lie are only trying to can the ember of discord between him and some APC leaders on the state.

” I have rumours by some mischief makers and unscrupulous elements that I went to purchase the governorship form of ADC for Governor Ambode so he can contest the 2019 election on the platform. There is no iota of truth in that”.

” Some people just want to create problem where there is none. They are doing everything to pitch me against other leaders of the party in the state. But I can assure you that they will fail” he said.
