Hello everyone. For the outgone Corp members, I want to believe you are doing well after your Passing Out Parade(P.O.P)inasmuch as you applied all the principles stated in my NYSC thread.

For years I have observed that some Corp Members who read non-professional courses are at crossroad on the best and hot skill to acquire while serving.

Some training centres take advantage of the ignorance of NYSC Members by teaching them things which can't help them during and after their youth service. They also award those they train certificates which most times can't fly in our present economy.

In the Nigeria of today, what most employers are looking for is Sabificate not necessarily Certificate. A good number of our graduates leave their University without acquiring a skill which can put food on their table and take care of their basic human needs.

I believe there are times you go for an interview and the Hiring manager is focus on what you have done so far in your life and how it is related to the position/role you are applying to. Every Hiring personnel want to hire someone they think got the potential to add value to their organization(unless you are using your connection).

One of the hottest skill you can acquire now is DIGITAL MARKETING Skill. When you have this skill, you can fit into lots of organizations as a Social Media Manager, Web Analyst/Manager, Digital Marketer, S.E.O. Specialist etc. You can even start up your Business with confidence since you have what it takes to market your product/skill and get conversions/leads.
