Ambode has exhausted all avenue he could to pacify Tinubu, but because Lagos politics is a one man stuff, Tinubu successfully turned everybody against Ambode for a yet to be disclosed sin. We did not hear complaints against Ambode until the build of this primary election, we are now being inundated with Ambode's awful performance. For some of us running our mouths against Ambode who is seeking a second term, if it were you, would you just step down just because cabals no longer want you? Let him fight on, he has long been buying time to pacify Tinubu, who is not yielding. Tinubu is not a god, even if Ambode does not get his second term bid now, he can still come back in future to complete it just like Fayemi of Ekiti State. This is time for Ambode to asslick the Presidency and if it is not producing the desired result, wash all the dirty linens in the public and put a confirmed dent on the so called person who is presumed better and his godfather. Politics, after all, is said to be dirty. You support Buhari for a second term, yet you kick against Ambode's re-election. What manner is nonsense is that?

Muiz Banire(SAN) is one of Tinubus biggest critics and was until recently the national legal adviser of APC. Tinubu cannot control or dictate to banire and they dont see eye to eye. Please read the thread below to see how banire was thoroughly critical of Ambode:

Fashola has built his own support structure and even fashola was not tinubus first choice for ministeral nomination from lagos. Fashola as at today is his own man and doesnt answer to tinubu anymore. He has his own justice group in Lagos running the grassroorts politics. Why is Fashola not supporting Ambode but rather told his candidate Hamzat to step down for Sanwoolu.

If Fashola and Muiz Banire are not supporting ambode, it is because ambode is doing something wrong not because tinubu ordered them to withdraw support and so it goes for a lot of APC members.

Tinubu isn't the creator of Lagos state and therefore shouldn't be the only person to give the final say as to who should govern a state like Lagos State....

I am sorry but this was a wrong move. This is only the primaries and you are This shaken and distraught. Incumbent governor trying to discredit his party opponent. This just proves the speculations that he is not a team player. I believe that it should be sanwo-olu trying to discredit Ambode, but Ambode has already discredited himself with shoddy performance and stupid arrogance.

Believe me, nobody has more dirt than a sitting governor. All politicians have one or the other. People still voted ibori.

All this would not have happened if he had just performed well for both people and party.
funny thing is that, all sanwo-olu has to do to counter thsee allegations is to state that the governor knew all of this and still retained him as a staff. That the fact that the incumbent has retained him for long shows a vote of confidence from the incumbent. He should just go ahead and state that he has no grouse with the incumbent. That he has served under him for more than 3 years, he has seen his lapses in governance and he is only here to correct his mistakes and improve on his achievements.

This is the crack that may break Tinubu's grip on Lagos (Dynasties always fall!). The Presidency was in PDP's grip for 16 years.... then a few crack and some built up sentiments made them lose it... let's see how this goes.

I am hoping someone else (apart from Sanwo-olu or Ambode) becomes Governor.
