Funny enough if you calculate the rate per night, Lagos still has the lowest spend out of all the cities ranked so let us cool down with the celebrations. |

You guys get news designed to engineer your mindset and you just willingly fall in line and play along. Did anyone notice where they separated South Africa from the class of Sub Sahara? The same game played to separate Egypt and North Africa and added into a demography class with Europe. |

mfm04622:I think most are Nigerian diaspora people. They may spend at shoprite but go back to live in family or own homes. Not so much in hotels. Remember to that Jo'Burg & Cape Town are visited more by Westerners who are more likely to use credit cards than returning Nigerians who may use cash more. Senegal & Ghana might have more African-Americans return to view slave trade ports, again people who will spend more per head. So the average spend per day or the visitor numbers may not be accurate for Lagos. Unless they also tally it with MMA arrival figures. Even though many arriving at MMA proceed right away to Ibadan, Abeokuta, Enugu, Illorin, Benin, Warri, Akure, etc. Barely spending anything within Lagos. |

BabaRamota1980:Nothing new we know the game. For example when average British people say "Commonwealth countries" they actually instinctively mean Canada, Australia, New Zealand & SA to some extent. They even forget that India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Jamaica, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana and others are even in it. Sub-Sahara Africa basically means all countries in Africa where black people are politically AND economically in control. |

How do we begin since some of us here take it for fun? We the youths need to pause and ponder and then apply our YOUTHFUL intelligence to think and make clever decisions even if we don't fully manifest in time for this election, before next election we are already a force. The reason why we are still like this is because we fail ourselves by shying away from things we need to do. Let's THINK, THINK,THINK and STRATEGIZE on how to move forward. Look at how creative, innovative and clever most of us are but still specialize in 1. Bring him down syndrome 2. Tribalism 3. If not me or us, no one else 4. APC or PDP 5. Lack of result oriented movements/plans 6. Caricatures, uninterested in national discourse etc.(No disrespect). Nowhere in the world have u seen youths complaining without actions and u expect results. For instance, NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN BILL has recently been signed. That means we must be a force by next election. Our time is near. |
