Remember you are going to pay dews before joining NURTW or ROAD There are times you won't go more than one trip or none. You will pay conductor. If you will buy TOKUNBO, you will gain enough before you start spending maintenance fee (Enough gain if you are going to drive it yourself) Don't calculate your expectation daily, you can only project what you will earn weekly not daily. Reason is anything can happen. Bus may develop fault, a minor accident can occur and also, you can only manage to load your bus once or twice from garage |

Is lucrative, but I will advice you to instead used the money and buy fairly used tiper, the one of benz head 6tires, and see money flowing like water, doo you need to learn how to drive it first, that's my advice |

Very lucrative if handled by urself but suicidal if given to another person no matter how close. |

Please find your way to an organised transportation company and hear their bargain. I guess is far less risky. Running with plain ignorance is risk on it owns. Don't test for yourself without trusted guidance to reduce cost, risk and improve your control on your earning. Best of luck. |

TissuePaper:Since you're in PH where there is UBER Buy correct Toyota Camry around 1.5-2m keep the remaining money in your account (or you can send it to me if you don't want) then register your car with uber and drive it by yourself. I bet you if you hustle well, you will make nothing less than 50k a week excluding your feeding and fueling. Since you're Thank me later |

TissuePaper:The estimated earnings here are based on the "bestest scenarios" Now think of the worse scenario. If you can make 900,000 a month rather than 2.1m after expenses, are you cool with that? |
| Re: How Lucrative Is The Transportation Sector?? by olancho: 7:25pm On Oct 01, 2018 |
Please if you are not going to drive it yourself, don't venture into it except you want to develop bp. I am talking from experience. |

TissuePaper:It is lucrative only to the one that drives the vehicle except the owner is a known ruthless and fearless individual. If your drivers know that you are ruthless, they will fix any damage to your vehicle without telling you. |

Guy let me put it clear to you, you are just building castle in the air. Yes, it's #1000 per persenger from Bayelsa to PH but you should understand that your bus will not be the only one on the route, when you get to the park you will see other drivers already on queue waiting to load, and for now if you manage to load one trip to PH and back you will thank your God. Moreover, immediately you load your bus in the park you are to pay commission to the park management, that is if you load #15000 you will pay not less than #3k and also pay some money to the touts that help you to shadow the bus and pay for local and state tickets before you will be allow to leave the park. If you don't pay when you return your bus will be impounded and fine paid before you will get your bus. In conclusion, apart from the loading from the park there other busses that pick passengers along the road that also make it difficult to get enough passengers in the park. So do a thorough research and look before you leap. Thank you |

Transport business is an open business Take a survey of the routes you want to ply Check their union to know thier cost and requirements to be registered and be a member Run the business yourself to know the nitty gritty of it Look out for fuel stations with good pump price Get a reliable mechanic that can be the only one to handle it Be ready to do servicing of the vehicle at least once a month After one good year evaluate the business and see if it Worth's it or not This is one of the best way to prove if its a worthy venture |

| Re: How Lucrative Is The Transportation Sector?? by 1sttruth: 7:40pm On Oct 01, 2018 |
Don't you think that the 2.1m per month estimate is very high considering a lot of factors ?. That business is so not easy, as a matter of fact I would go for a different business with such amount you have than transport business, my experience with hired drivers and my opinion though. |

Death trap roads will destroy your vehicle in no time,no matter how careful you are. Coupled with unruly traffic regulations, policing and touting. Nigerian infrastructures, mindsets and policies are too primitive for the 21st century vehicular activities. |
| Re: How Lucrative Is The Transportation Sector?? by FKseun(m): 7:45pm On Oct 01, 2018 |
Most drivers are demonically wicked! If they are not so, why would a driver sell the 4 brand new tyres you mounted on your bus and replace them with fairly used tyres that he bought himself? Why would a driver use your bus to convey bags of cements beyond the capacity of the bus and give you a token after destroying the shock absorbers? They will buy all sorts of cheap fuel since the vehicle is not theirs. A friend who took loan to go into the business a few years back is still paying the loan but the buses are no longer on the road. Thank God he has a paid job. Just imagine ... you have a paid job and also have one or two buses plying Port Harcourt -Lagos... if one of your drivers call you that your bus has broken down somewhere around sagamu, will you leave your office and start travelling to Lagos? |
