I dunno, my waec has a wrong date, but i do not care, its their typo and i can convince who ever sees it

My DOB is 5/6
And WAEC result has 6/6

Very possible, liaise with a lawyer to
effect an affidavit for it and publicate it in any of a national dailies. Ensure you enquire for when the paper will be out, purchase it and keep the paper because it will automatically be part of your credentials.

Be careful. I have the same problem and wanted to change it. One of my teachers advised me to either change the date on my school record or get a court affidavit. His told me WAEC would require the original to change the date and that there are cases of people who never got their result back after submitting it for correction. I went to WAEC office and was given the same advice by one of their staff so be careful.

Once result has been issued you cannot change date of birth. If you like go there with a supreme court judge. I will attach proof later.

an original certificate can neither be altered nor corrected, it happened to mine also but I did an affidavit of age support and always attach my original birth certificate when using it.

You people are under estimating the impact nairaland hàs on peoples' live. The OP asked if it is possible,vif yes then he will proceed further, if no he accepts it the way it is. Thereby saving his time and energy of going yo waec office.

brother you that is saying "Please ignore those telling you about "greasing of palms'' do you think WAEC will do a change in your result for free.
Waec will charge you a token of 10k per mistake in your result, such as wrong name, wrong date of birth, etc.

If you can substantiate that it was an error and not an afterthought, then it could be amended. To do that, your school will need to present some documents relating to your registration and date of birth.

Please contact the WAEC Office in the state where you sat for the exam.

Where did you get this information from? It's completely false and misleading. Once result is out you cannot change date of birth.
