Yesterday two armed robbers got more than they bargained for as they were seriously dealt with by villagers after being caught stealing from a shrine in Anambra state.

It was gathered that the notorious thieves who have been terrorising residents of Igboukwu town, were caught at Etitnabo Ezihu village in Igboukwu area of the state, while trying to steal moulded craft representations of gods at a shrine.

The armed robbers in an attempt to escape after being spotted, shot sporadically at people but no one was hurt or caught by the stray bullets.

They were both apprehended and stripped naked as the villagers disgraced them before handing them over to the police for prosecution.

The robbers messed up big time. The last time a deacon stole my phone during a church service in Nigeria, nothing was done to him. Those robbers are undergoing this present predicament because they stole in a shrine. There's God's grace in Zion. Unlike in shrines. Let's be mindful of where we steal and let's be smart in whatever we're doing. God's grace will always abide with us and help us in all our doings.
