Npower Volunteers To Stage A Peaceful Protest by Spicyleo(op): 12:00pm On Oct 04, 2018
All npower volunteers need to stage a peacful protest in all the state capital to demand for permanency. It is our right to gain employment after our education so that we can also help the parents and society that sent us to school. The government cannot use us for 2 years and dump us like that. Especially those in the health and education sectors need to be retained in the state civil service.

Bro, as much as I hate to say this, those clamoring for 4 million naira compensation or permanency need a comprehensive medical and psychological checkup. Didn't you know the stated terms before the programme commenced?
Aside that, if anyone is to be compensated, it should be those who applied but were not employed under the scheme. Our self-centeredness in this country is really a big problem. Millions weren't employed. Even those who have graduated decades earlier and yet some serving corp members got employed. If anyone needs compensation, it is those who weren't able to benefit at all. No be same naija we dey.
No vex me ooo

That's the problem with some Nigerians like you, because you couldn't get npower job and so they shouldn't demand for permanent job? Get a life bro
Why don't you go against Labour union who is demanding review of minimum wage because you don't have a Job.
If federal government can permanent their job I would be happy.
Don't be a sadist

Why are you self-centered/selfish?
Only fighting for yourself is not good enough.
Are n-agro volunteers not part of n-power?

These Npower guys dey fall hand I swear.
The program was designed as a temporary reprieve. It would have been safer you leveraged on the program to build you personal capacity and add valuable skills that will make you relevant to the private sector..

If you are already on this path, remain on it and stop chasing shadows.

Lastly take a look, at the kinda govt you're appealing to! Is this govt a listening one? Reason am jare

sadist! Far from it. You are just a lazy selfish fellow. Lazy to even read the terms of the programme and so selfish not to leave. It is an empowerment programme not an employment programme. Give room for others to come in too.

Kukuma beg government to open another programme for people done with npower na.

That one should be 3 years with pay of 35,000.

So once you are done with nysc of 1yr, you move to npower of 2yrs, and then the one for npower graduates of 3yrs.

Let the yoots continue to fight for peanuts.

And you need to see their level of proficiency in English... Most on their FB page is so poor that I wonder if these guys really graduated at all. Most, especially those first set guys got in via Godfathers and lack of competition due to their geographical location. I know of many also that are now gainfully employed too anyway.

These few disturbing our peace on NL and FB are just the lazy and unambitious ones. Those who know where they are going would surly have moved on.

And also, its best they are all teargassed if they disturb public peace. grin grin grin

God bless you. I'm not a beneficiaries. I have said this before. I have those who are so dare to me that are benefitting from this scheme. Sincerely I wish they are retained. But that is not the terms of contract on their employment letter and now permanency has become a thing of "our right". I know someone who have saved to start a life when the program ends. If they had not done this program we would have all survived. They have begin 2019 registration. The consistency there. They know the implication of employment. If they want to employ it should be their discretionary and not your right.
