You're sensible. I don't hide my hatred for the ijebus. They are too bad to be left with power. Look at what amosun has done to abeokuta, the state capital. Abeokuta that's supposed to be a bustling city was rubbished by the ijebus because they didn't get the state capital. Amosun came and start developing the city but wasn't too comfortable with the ijebus. Awujale has stopped attending state meetings for a very long time because of amosun hatred. I will vigorously campaign for the emergence of GNI instead of dapo.
Awujale of a person is ill for a very long time. Old age is catching up, (85 years) But he do send representative in person of 'Dagburewe of Idowa Oba Yinusa ' to attend any state meeting. Awujale have been a father to all politician, remember 2014 when Jonathan seek for his support, he told him factually to go and meet the populaces.
Don't bring our royal father down because of APC/ Amosun.

Says who, who brought Amosun to Osoba?
Without Tinubu, Amosun will be the serial loser that he was.
He only has clout in Abeokuta town, even the egba highchiefs don't like him.

He's arrogant and stubborn
I don't really care who becomes governor, I just don't want the sitting Governor to hand pick his successor.
The guy is a fraudulent man, why is he building bridges where there's no need for?
Yet important roads are not motorable.

I see GNI benefitting from this, if Obasanjo should come out openly and show his support, GNI will get few votes from Egba axis added to his Yewa votes
Which OBJ gan are u talking about? The one that can't win d polling booth in front of his house, not to talk his ward...which candidate has he ever made to win anything in Ogun...name any.

Hate him or like him, he obviously is not perfect and has his own flaws like any human, but Amosun is d best Gov ever in d history of this State...The bridges are there already and might not be fully utilised now...but with Lagos bn overcrowded, people are now moving to Ogun State...if the train line d FG is constructing begins operation, people will relocate en-mass to Ogun and be working in Lagos. Is it until when this happens that we start rushing to construct bridges and infrastructure to meet up...plus how do u attract investors if u lack good infrastructure in place...it is called foresight; bn proactive instead of bn reactive.

Ogun Central is locked down for him...without all these Osobas u are talking about, he won in 2015...when Osoba thought in 2015 he was still relevant and chose to flex his weak muscle, he and his Matagbamole Group decamped to another party...a single seat, they couldn't win...if Amosun should move out of APC in Ogun today, APC is finished in d State...Even d VP himself, Osinbajo can't win Lado in Ogun East, not to talk of Kashamu...All these people are not up to one, i swear.

Is it Dapo Abiodun who couldn't win his Senatorial District in 2015, disappeared into thing air without contributing jack shit to d party for 3 years, only to return and be flexing muscle...time will tell sha.

You're making stupid jokes. Egba will always be ahead. Bring your facts. All you ijebus have gotten from presidency is 2nd seat while egba have ruled twice and abiola would have make it 3rd had his mandate was restored. Now tell me how we are mate Mr ijebu.
Dude, Now reread my post again. Where did i mention that ijebus are superior to the egbas? I don't have any interest in your dick measuring challenge because I have no qualms about the egbas. If you hate the ijebus then that's your kettle of fish. Peace.

Lol.. I think it's pretty clear you dont like Dapo Abiodun. I hope we can agree that whatever the case Akinlade is not the man to govern Ogun State. If Amosun continue to insist it will go elsewhere either to GNI or Ladi or even this Dapo sef. Who dash Amosun best governor in history? So because he built bridges in Abk makes him a performer? What about the areas that are already highly populated and with industries but are left with gutter like roads everywhere?

Should we mention the models schools he built...or uncompleted bridges and roads around Agbole and environs since his first term? Is it the arrears he is owing workers we should talk about or the crisis in MAPOLY or how LG chairmen are rendered useless in his administration.

One thing I will give to him is in the area of employment to the civil service, every other thing na wash.

Amosun is greedy! Leave Oshiomole out of this, we ogun state people have a mind of our own. Why insist on Akinlade when there are other credible candidates from yewa that wanted to contest on APC platform but SIA came up with the conseus thing and made other yewa contestants sign to agree with the outcome.

That is why the likes of Tolu Odebiyi could not be part of the primaries. This is all the fault of yewa elders. They would have preffered Odebiyi, but ass licking made them choose Amosun's candidate
Doyin if I'm permitted to call you by the. You are such an Amosun apologist. In any case, Amosun is currently running frompillar to post now trying to change things in Abuja but that ship has sailed Long ago. There is no going back on Dapo Abiodun.

Forget about Dapo losing to Buruju, he has become the rallying point of all anti-Amosun forces and his backers are very formidable. You have the likes of Oshiomole, Osinbajo, Dangote,Tinubu and Osoba. His personal rapport with Buhari isn't suffiient to change this outcome. Dapo is not YAYI o.

Broda mi, bi iku ile o pa ni, ti ode oo le pani.
The issue is imposition of candidates has not worked in ogun state. Obj and OGD tried it and faiied. That was how Amosun became governor.

If he had not imposed his candidate on the party and sent other yewa contestants away, if he allowed a levelled playing ground for everyone, i doubt the NWC would have intervened the way they did.

GNI's imposition by OGD is what is affecting his chances till today.
I hope APC resolves the iss, but there are other options in other parties. It is not compulsory ogun votes APC.

You have said it all. Ogun state is very allergic to imposition. Amosun won't have been governor if OGD didnt make that error. He too has now set in motion the governorship to go to anybody other than his stooge. People never learn from history. The only sure thing is that the next Governor will not be Akinlade

whatever resolution reached will not end up benefitting Triple A. who wants an Amosun stooge? People are sympathetic to Yewa but Amosun already blew the chance and the Yewa elders were cowards for not challenging him. it's a wide open field now

Watch all those clamoring for dapo candidacy, most of them are ijebus. Let's leave sentiment aside no governor has beaten amosun in terms of achievements in ogun state not even onabanjo. The tribalistic politics in ogun state today was introduced by onabanjo, an ijebu son. And if not for the smartness of obj to bring the state capital to abeokuta through the back door, they already wanted it at ikenne. Amosun ain't perfect and he has his shortcomings too in folds but he's an upgrade to what we've been having before. Dapo Abiodun, after losing 2015 election withdrew all the buses he bought for the party. Who does that? And he left for over 3 years not even concerned about what happen in the party only to now appear from thin air. Don't be deceived, this is the best opportunity for GNI. Wonders will happen next year and APC won't find it funny. Tinubu is fast losing relevance and people don't seem to read the line . You will all know the real color of buhari if he win the second term. Let them go to primary and slug it out. Why NWC was busy postponing the primaries for 2 times before Ogun APC conducted the election with inec officials present. Amosun might be bad but he have a valid point with his argument. You can't just announce the winner without due diligence from the state party. Is that what APC as a party stand for? If APC should go on with dapo Abiodun, the election will favor GNI. Mark my word... And also remember that all politics is local and more so, loyalty is the blood of politics globally.

In case u don't know, Buhari instructed Tinubu to allow Yayi return to Lagos and not disturb his political son.

Oh, u think it is a fluke that Amosun's Finance Commissioner became Buhari's Finance Minister? Go figure.

AS for Onabanjo, he didn't set a good precedence for others to follow...and to even think that a Yewa man stepped down for him is even more annoying.

Dapo Abiodun will meet his waterloo...we shall be waiting for him.

As for GNI, i am not saying it won' favour him, but he needs Amosun's support and not OBj's to win it...OBJ is not strong at all locally...why do u think Majekodunmi decamped to Amosun's camp despite all Amosun's camp seems to be passing thru now? Amosun and your Yewa elders sabotaged your chance. The irony is that it is Amosun's actions that will make yewa lose it if they indeed lose it and who knows when again it will come back there. Dont blame Dapo for taking advantage. It will not be TripleA
Time will tell... grin

I think I agree with Amosun that You can't reap where you didn't sow.

Osoba, Kaka and Co left the party for Sdp in 2015 , Amosun won the election without them, Osoba and all his candidates didn't win a single post.

Now after the 2015 Elections which Amosun ensured that APC won ,Osoba and his rebellious group came back to the party and expect Amosun to just handover the kingmaker position to him. . it's not done.

Amosun kept the party moving in Ogun state, all these ones just want reap where they didn't sow.

Let them do the primaries again and do it the right way.

He knows ADC is extremely weak in Ogun Central. GNI can only do well in d West if he's d sole candidate from there and needs a strong man like Amosun to help deliver d Central.
Who was the Yewa man that stepped down for Onabanjo? grin

He made a mistake. It was an egba man, chief odunjo that lost to onabanjo. 10 of yewa leaders unanimously voted for onabanjo without the support of egbas which made him emerged as the first governor. I believe the same ijebus should just allow yewa that supported them then rule when other zones have ruled. I'm an egba but I preach justice and equity. Let yewa rule come 2019. Simple!

Actually, it was one Ijebu man that stepped down for both after he rejected the persuasion of Awolowo to be governor. Those two were never in the picture because they were never as popular as that person in the Western region. grin

I don't care who rules as long as the person performs.

I am only supporting Amosun because he's done so well in Ogun, more than any previous Govt...though he's not perfect like any human...2, he's d closest Yewa can get to actualising our dream of producing a Gov. And no matter d gathering, this is our time, we shall overcome...unless Amosun betrays d Yewas...If not Triple A, GNI is good by me...but trust that Yewa would rather Lado wins than a certain Dapo Abiodun who came to rock our boat at d eleventh hour.

Time will tell sha... grin
baba Dapo has been ractified and INEC says they must present list by 7th. So it's safe to say Dapo has made it. I think it's better you start working for GNI now grin grin grin

We shall wait for him next year. I wonder who will campaign for him here. The whole party members already made up their minds. Dapo is a no go area. APC have lost this already. Congrats to GNI in advance.
