See epistle your goat move to the best possible club in each league. Y ur goat no go team like valencia, Milan or even Napoli but chose Juve claiming to seek a new challenge despite Juve winning scuddeto go d past 6 years or more. Messi is content at Barca. Why does he have to play in long ball playing team like stoke? He already proved himself against the very best in Epl. Mind u playing at Britannia is not as difficult as playing at anoeta or balaidos
,
Ronaldo did not go to Juventus to win the Scudetto. He's gone there to win the UCL!

About your question, read my statement again. This time do so carefully.

Yep, like your excuses for your MCM.

See it's fine if Messi wants to retire at Barcelona. He has the right to do so if he so wishes. But him scoring while playing in Barcelona against English teams is not proof he'd tear teams apart while playing on an English team on a wet night at Stoke.

Messi will never leave Barca for any Epl club. I swear it’s a downgrade . Ronaldo elevate his career from United to Madrid.

Dude I have no problem with Messi staying at Barca until he retires. That's his choice. I respect that.

But that is not evidence he'd tear teams apart in an EPL club on a rainy night at Stoke. The longer he stays at Barca, the more the opposite holds true.

He will tear dem apart. Players who are not as strong as Messi(aguero,Silva,Sanchez,Ozil, mata) did it . Why excluding messi. Mind you messi is Argentina all time top scorer and assist maker. He’s only second to pele at the South America top scorer ranking.

Dude he beat those clubs playing for Barcelona.

Messi in Barcelona could give a masterclass against Pele's Brazil.

He's played all his life there. Go over to an English club with their preposterous long-ball game and he'd have a tough night against Stoke. It's not an exaggeration.

It's like saying Messi would tear teams up if he went to Italy. Technically he could as Dybala was Juve's highest goalscorer last year, but who's going to give him the space knowing what he's capable of?

Why does Messi choke up in the latter stages of the champions league? No one gives him that space to operate. Giving Messi space to operate is like having a bunch of 5'5'' defenders mark CR7 when crosses are being whipped into the box.

You guys pamper Messi like he needs that sh*t. Of the top 5 GOAT contenders, he's the only one fans like to make excuses for. Pele played as a goalkeeper in some matches (seriously go watch the videos) and was prevented from the leaving Brazilian league by the government at his prime. Maradona played for Napoli. CR7 went from a dominant Man U side that had gone to two UCL finals to a RM side that was struggling to make it to the quarters of the UCL, then left after B2B2B to go win the UCL for Juve at 33. Zidane had to come back from retirement at 34 to play in the 2006 World Cup and led France to the final.

But Messi gets to play from the age of 13 in one club playing one style of football and that's somehow proof he'd cope well in another system, in another league, with a different playing philosophy. Get the f*ck outta here!

That's how he was forming boss against Chelsea last year and his fans in the media were buzzing, then he forgot how to run against Roma and same fans were afraid to pummel him for giving up too easily.

-Lord
Inasmuch as this is your opinion, I have a problem with this logic not only because it is prejudiced, but because it does not also make too much sense.

Here's why.
1st, you make it sound like Barcelona did Messi a very huge favour by signing him. Completely disregarding the fact that it has been a very symbiotic relationship. Messi has reciprocated the faith the club had in him, by deciding to play his entire football career at the club.

2nd, you seem to suggest that Messi's ability to perform in the EPL should be judged on his performances against small teams in the said EPL. If this makes lots of sense, then it means that Cristiano Oponunaldo's last 2 Ballon dor's should not have been awarded to him because he didn't decimate a very defensive Sassuolo on a cold night, he instead scored a controversial penalty against Juventus, Serie A's very best. In fact, he should have been denied the Ballon d'or because he didn't score a hatrick against Hoffeinheim in the semis, instead he scored
a hatrick against a Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga's very best.
You seem to have forgotten that FC Barcelona decimated a team coached by Sir Alex twice, in which Messi won MOM both times. In case it skipped your knowledge, Sir Alex's Orthodox coaching is the very epitome of English football (defend, run, run, cross, and score). I say this with all due respect.

You seem to forget Messi's single handed ruthlessness against Assnal, Man city, Chelsea, and recently Tottenham.

And more importantly, Barcelona has not played possession as much as we used to in the days of Pep, Xavi, and co. But Messi's relevance to the team has not reduced when we play direct football. Lucho, and Valverde are proofs that Messi can play in a team that plays direct football and still be relevant. In fact, since barca started playing less possession, Messi has been the focal point of our play. Hence the tag, pass to Messi Fc.

How then is it logical to conclude that all of these performances against EPL's best teams should be neglected, but instead he should play against a relegated stoke city coached by Mark Hughes?

I am embarassed for you Lord Adam.

And finally,
Messi is the reason why Barcelona is still relevant in Europe till date. Something no other player can boast of! His fiercest rival, Oponunaldo has done well to prove himself in Man Utd, Real, and now Juve (All respect to him). But these clubs have done just well after he left.
Man Utd only started to fall apart after Ferguson's retirement, Real Madrid will do just fine without him. In fact, they became only relevant in Europe due to Zidane's management which was simply to get the ball to oponunaldo in the 18 yard, while all he had to was tap in. This is not to discredit his hardwork, I'm just stating the obvious.

Remove Messi from this barca, all you have left is Marcelo Bielsa's Atletic Bilbao;

I have time to address whatever I felt important to address.

And if you read my post well too, I addressed the fact that Messi has paid his dues to barca. And more importantly, he is still playing at the core of barca despite Xavi and co gone!

I respect your opinion, but TBF, Ronaldo's transfer from united to real, was it a downgrade? was it?
You made a point about his move to Juventus, how well is he faring? we await till end of season to judge his performance.
How bad is the Juventus team without Ronaldo?

Tearing up an English team wearing a Barca's jersey is not proof he would succeed in a long ball playing team in EPL neither is it proof he won't. Not like he is playing the same style he started, how many of those players that were groomed in that system are still in Barca or starting? or is it because of the name Barcelona?

Sorry but what sort of silly statement is this? Messi has played in close to 10 semifinals and 3 finals in the UCL and because Barcelona hasn't qualified for the semi final in 3 years now, you are changing the narrative to he chokes up in the latter stages of UCL?

If i can remember clearly, he scored one of UCL greatest goals against your club in the Semi final and has one of the greatest individual performances against Bayern still in this Semi final.

Mayorga's lawsuit accuses Ronaldo and his team of taking advantage of Mayorga's fragile emotional state to coerce her into signing a settlement and nondisclosure agreement in 2009.
She claims she received $375,000 in exchange for her silence. Her lawsuit seeks to void the settlement and agreement.
"We believe we have the factual basis to ask the court to set aside the agreement so we can litigate ... for damages," Leslie Stovall, Mayorga's co-counsel, said at the news conference.
