Why una no follow lose yesterday sef...

No be only Messi 1 win UCL this season. There's only so many matches Ronaldo can play in a calendar year at 33. As it looks like he'd play most league and UCL matches unlike at RM where he was rested regularly for league games.

-Lord
If Juve are wise they would preserve Ronaldo for the champions league.

They don't need him to win the serie A.

Give him 20 league games max.

But we all know he wouldn't agree.

It's always stats over trophies for Ronaldo.

Lol.

At least he retired,

Ronaldo would never retire for a second as long as the penalty rule exists and tap-ins are still legal.

The world is going crazy about Messi's game last night with adjectives and superlatives,

"Best in the world "

"Greatest of all time"

And all that stuff.

But I really thought that wasn't even close to any of his best games for us.

Na wa Oh,

Is it true that Messi has scored 21 goals vs EPL opponent in the CL

How can he survive in the EPL
It is just not enough to keep piling stats against epl small boys such as Chelsea, man u, man city, arsenal and Tottenham.

He should move to the championship and do it against the top guns such as stoke on a cold rainy night.

Only then can he be truly regarded as the GOAT.

How many ex barca players turned football coaches play possession/pressing football style?

I dare say only Cryuff and Guardiola!
One is dead, the other coaches in EPL never to return to barca again (In his own words)

Cules should wake up to the reality that not all coaches are naturally inclined to possess and press relentlessly with utmost precision, even if they played under the barca system.
The best the coaches can do is to adapt to the barca system. But even in a situation where there is so much pressure to get results, it is understandable that sometimes, the barca philosophy is thrown to the winds in a bid to get results.

For those who opine that EV does not develop players, or rotate players... How exactly he was he supposed to rotate a team full of average dimwits?

Last season, we had Gomes, Aleix Vidal, Paco Alcacer, Lucas Digne, an injured Ousmane, a non registered Coutinho in the UCL, and an injured Rafinha. Nobody gave barca a chance last season, especially given the circumstances around Neymar's departure. This man had barca fans hoping for a fvcking treble, something Real Madrid and Oponunaldo couldn't dream of despite having better a squad depth.

This season should be used to judge Ernesto, not last season. He has a better squad, with depth...he understands now that barca is a team with high expectations. I dare say again, that in a fast paced, and highly competitive football world, it is wisdom for a coach to prioritise results over "style" of play. If it is needed to set up a team to attack in order to win a game, so be it. If it is needed to go through route 1, or use counters...so be it.

Real Madrid's triple UCL wins should make us understand that in the end, it is the win that counts.
Messi and barca have had enough Ls already. If Enersto can give us another W, I'd be more than glad...even if it means we have to play like Athletico to get it

Dude he beat those clubs playing for Barcelona.

Messi in Barcelona could give a masterclass against Pele's Brazil.

He's played all his life there. Go over to an English club with their preposterous long-ball game and he'd have a tough night against Stoke. It's not an exaggeration.

It's like saying Messi would tear teams up if he went to Italy. Technically he could as Dybala was Juve's highest goalscorer last year, but who's going to give him the space knowing what he's capable of?

Why does Messi choke up in the latter stages of the champions league? No one gives him that space to operate. Giving Messi space to operate is like having a bunch of 5'5'' defenders mark CR7 when crosses are being whipped into the box.

You guys pamper Messi like he needs that sh*t. Of the top 5 GOAT contenders, he's the only one fans like to make excuses for. Pele played as a goalkeeper in some matches (seriously go watch the videos) and was prevented from the leaving Brazilian league by the government at his prime. Maradona played for Napoli. CR7 went from a dominant Man U side that had gone to two UCL finals to a RM side that was struggling to make it to the quarters of the UCL, then left after B2B2B to go win the UCL for Juve at 33. Zidane had to come back from retirement at 34 to play in the 2006 World Cup and led France to the final.

But Messi gets to play from the age of 13 in one club playing one style of football and that's somehow proof he'd cope well in another system, in another league, with a different playing philosophy. Get the f*ck outta here!

That's how he was forming boss against Chelsea last year and his fans in the media were buzzing, then he forgot how to run against Roma and same fans were afraid to pummel him for giving up too easily.

See epistle your goat move to the best possible club in each league. Y ur goat no go team like valencia, Milan or even Napoli but chose Juve claiming to seek a new challenge despite Juve winning scuddeto go d past 6 years or more. Messi is content at Barca. Why does he have to play in long ball playing team like stoke? He already proved himself against the very best in Epl. Mind u playing at Britannia is not as difficult as playing at anoeta or balaidos
