Mangreat034:You are right in a way, but there is doctor of optometry, doctor of pharmacy etc NB- Pedatrics, gynaecology, otolaryngology (ENT) are specialty Within medicine, that medical doctor get to specialise in. a medical doctor, can choose to specialise in any of the specialty and/or subspecialty within medicine. As for your question I think those professionals are found in school of medicine. |

Kingdante:Optometry is a department of its own. It is not under Medicine and Surgery. Also, Pharmacy does not offer the Doctor title in the undergraduate level 1 Like |

Gmajor:Yes optometry is a department on its own, as for pharmacy most university in Nigeria award her student with Pharm.D ( doctor of pharmacy)certification after 5 or 6 years as the case maybe. |
