Dr. Doyin Okupe, Chairman, Media Council of the Bukola Saraki Campaign Organisation, has debunked reports that his principal is planning to step down in the presidential race at the ongoing National Convention in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Okupe, in a post on his social media handles said Senate President Bukola Saraki is the leading candidate and will be elected as the party flag bearer in today’s exercise.

“Please disregard the disinformation being spread by unscrupulous politician that Saraki is stepping down.

“He is the leading candidate in this race and will by God’s Grace be elected as flag bearer of the PDP today,” he said

Nobody should pay attention to his utterances.

2019 general elections will be very interesting if Saraki emerges the presidential candidate for the PDP, although I'm not a fan of the man, I have to admit that he is a bastard who has so many aces up his sleeve (not an insult, I'm complimenting him ).

At least PDP's convention is more interesting than the APC.

Saraki is surely in the race and definitely a good candidate but the national appeal and the political sagacity of Atiku Abubakar will surely edge it here. He is the only candidate that can match the clueless man from Daura and surpass him in the various forms of politicking they'll bring to play.

atiku is d one we want has a lot of experience in government from 1999. ,he was part of OBJ gov, worked with yaradua and GEJ in PDP and also participated in APC process that brought Buhari. so all can c that he has been part of every administration fro!m 1999 to date in different capacities.
