*Obahiagbon emerge Edo South APC flag bearer, floors opponent with over 90,000 votes*

Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon has again emerged successfully in the just concluded APC primaries rerun in Edo State.

Patrick Obahiagbon who earlier thanked the APC party faithfuls in Edo South has again pulled a large number of vote in all local government of Edo South, the victory which can easily be discribed a landslide witnessed large turn out of party faithfuls across the state on Saturday.

In a result announced by the Chairperson of the National working committee (NWC) Haija Farida has it that the former member of House of representatives Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon pulled a total number of 90,140 votes to defeat his opponent Irabor Emokpae.

She said "Edo South senatorial district number of accredited voters 107,990, total vote cast 90,491, valid votes 90,491, name of contestants Patrick Obahiagbon and Irabor Emokpae, Patrick Obahiagbon scoring the highest number of votes which is 90,140 and haven gotten the highest number of vote cast is hereby declared the winner of Edo South senatorial district " as declared by the Chairperson Haija Farida.

The declaration also saw the emergence of Sen. Francis Alimekena, EJ Agbonayinma, Osaigbovo Iyoha, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere and others.

His opponent is not well known is Edo APC.I like emokpae erhabor's consistency.He contested the Senate seat for edo South in 2015 which was eventually clinched by Samson osagie.Obahiagbon has been very loyal to Oshiomhole and APC since he left PDP in late 2010.
