BREAKING NEWS: Mimiko Emerges As The Presidential Candidate Of Zenith Labour Party

Olusegun Mimiko, the immediate past governor of Ondo State, has emerged as the presidential candidate of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, at the party’s national convention in Abuja on Sunday, October 7, 2019.

In a jam-packed hall in Chelsea Hotel at Central Area in the Federal Capital Territory, Dr. Mimiko accepted the nomination of the Zenith Labour Party as the sole aspirant for the presidential ticket.

The National Chairman of the Zenith Labour Party, Dr. Dan Nwanyanwu, presented Dr. Mimiko, to the 700 and more delegates from states around the country and following 6 verbal votes, all the delegates voted in favour of the candidacy of the nationally respected grassroots politician.

Nigeria has eggheads, no doubt, and Mimiko is one of them, aside Oby, Ngozi, Soludo, Sanusi Lamido, etc. But what's setting us back is our current structure that encourages corruption, laziness and unproductiveness.
Mimiko did a lot of great work, according to those who know Ondo State, including foreign aid organisations.

I think if this Man was still in pdp he would have been in better chance of being the vice president to Atiku cos Atiku would be rooting for a strong politician east or west and this man could have been a better choice but with this new party good luck to him
