From my statistics and investigation so far, the best vice presidential candidate should come from south west. i won't lie to you here, yoruba people do come out and cast their votes any time any day. and according to Inec registration so far, the region that have their pvc and registered are from North west followed by south west, so the best vice president should come from south west. our goal is to send buhari to daura. 5 Likes |

fallout87:i just journalist hangout from tvc news this evening, alot of journalist interviewing were just saying that the best for Atiku is to chose from South west region. The goal is to send buhari to Daura. in the Southern region, the population that has much pvc and votes enmass is south west region. at least we can see how the electorates came out enmass and votes for pdp in the last governorship election in Osun state. 3 Likes |

OP well done for ur analysis, but I totally disagree with u on this, advising PDP to choose VP from SW so they can have their votes is as good as advising APC to choose a VP from SE expecting them to vote for them, SW are more of APC and SE are PDP, also SW PDP has no credible leader who can get them the lion share of votes from there, also remember that over 20% of registered voters in SW are Igbos who will surely vote for PDP Anyday anywhere, SE will vote massively for PDP and no doubt about that, TINUBU and co has colonised the SW region and PDP can never get a higher vote there no matter what, so for me, it will be suicidal for PDP to pick a PV from de SW... 6 Likes 2 Shares |

VP position in Nigerian politics is inconsequential A look at the mere commissioner will convince you Where is Mathew seifeya today?... Johnnyessence:Using your analysis don't forget that the Igbos also make up each of these population you put up there! The Igbos have paid their dues they deserve more that the post of the VP but if they are willing to take the post of the VP it shouldn't be argued! However Atiku will do well to carry everyone along! Federal characters should be respected! People like Fani Kayode, Wike and Fayose should be respected as far as PDP is concerned! Calm their grievances if there is any! Wiseandtrue:of course atiku will do well to carry everyone along. we are talking about the electorates voting rate here. it is even 7m+ in the south east and it is 14m+ in the south west. electorates in the south west troop out enmass to cast their votes for their various candidates of their choice. last month governorship election in osun state should have tell you that buhari and Apc will be defeated in osun state. the same osun state is part of south west state . |

PDP has a power rotation formula that should accommodate all zones Obasanjo has been President for PDP in recent past for 8years, South South has had Jonathan for 8 years, 2 years as VP while 6 years as President It is only fair to go for a South East VP Tribe in not the only consideration for vote The message is important too, the truth is the chances of PDP at the next election will remain the same whether the VP is from SW or SE The superior numbers SW claims is because of Lagos, it is debatable how much of Lagosians are from Yoruba as opposed to other parts of Nigeria So as always statistics are subject to interpretation |
