@UcheSecondus, congrats on your totally glorious convention that was just concluded.

I will keep this very simple: If you field someone else from another ethnic group- as the VP - PDP will simply kiss permanent goodbye to igbo votes all over Nigeria (not just in SE).

Since the last 20 years or so, the Yorubas have held the presidency for 8 years (in PDP) and the VP for 4 years (in APC). On the flip side, the igbos have not held either of the two positions in any party in Nigeria's recent history. Yet, the igbos have been the most loyal supporters of PDP.

On the other hand, most of the Yorubas (not all) openly rejected and sold out PDP in 2015 (a party that gave them 8 years of presidency not long ago) just because they were offered the VP slot on a new party with an obviously unqualified presidential candidate. They literally threw the PDP under the bus with total disregard for national interest.

Now, these same people are clamoring to grab the new VP slot in PDP - a slot that obviously should go to the igbos.

Since 1999 the igbos have remained faithful to PDP all through. Just name it, OBJ, Yaradua, GEJ - Igbos supported all of them whole heatedly without having a shot at the VP slot. The Yorubas should do the same. Now is the time. And it's clear to every sane mind.

In simple terns, no sane person would reward disloyalty and punish loyalty. But that's exactly what you'd be doing if you fall for the antics, and deny the igbos the VP slot. DO NOT TAKE THE IGBOS FOR GRANTED EVEN FOR ANOTHER SPLIT SECOND.

If fielding an igbo VP would make Atiku lose the election, then IPOB is 100% justified.

Igbos are watching so keenly.

If the PDP VP slot goes to the Yorubas this time, then the Igbos would make sure that APC stays in power indefinitely. It's PDP's job to see to it that the Igbos do not only get the VP slot this time, but you should also ensure that an Igbo president takes over from Atiku immediately after his full tenure.

Your move.

If the VP's origin truly does not matter, then why are you so angry? Why don't you want it to be an Igbo person? Or are you just lying to yourself?

Why is APC so deperate to make this trend?

Apc have been hiring people like you to come online and post this issue to make people think that our brothers and sisters in the SE actually care if the VP is from their region when in reality they don't !

You are so desperate that you have paid red media billions to make this issue trend grin

With hope it will divide Atikus support in the SE

But it has failed just like very single promise and propaganda by APC

PDP would never dare that stupid move. PDP VP is a matter of Igbo national interest and anything less would have dire consequences.

IPOB would shut down the entire East that day and the lifeless one would easy stroll back to power.

Thank God Ohaneze just sounded another warning to them. In 2015, APC won SW made up of 6 states with 500k while in PDP won Anambra, a single state with 600k.

PDP should be warned!!!

Don't deceive yourself. I am an Igbo and I can tell you this is the sentiment.

Play with that VP ticket and the dull one would get to power. I can assure you all our Governors and Politicians would move against PDP.

We voted only for Saraki/Atiku. We have our reasons. Saraki was smart to name his VP at the convention while Atiku already promised that before the convention.

There's no mumbo-jumboing about this. Either go with an Igbo person as the VP, or go without igbos at all, your choice PDP.

Pure lie.

A bird at hand is worth more than a trillion birds in the bush.

If PDP gives the VP slot to a Yoruba person, then PDP will lose both the Yoruba votes and the Igbo votes . And they will lose the Igbo's NATIONWIDE.

In 1999, the Yorubas voted against PDP and Obasanjo in favor of Olu Falae.

In 2019 they will vote AGAINST PDP and any other Yoruba person, in favor of Osinbajo.

Ignore igbos this time, and watch a massive protest vote nationwide.

If Atiku must appease SW by giving them VP according to some of you....why did Buhari give SW VP in the last election when SW was already locked up for him. I didn’t see any of you shouting then that he should give SE or SS VP to secure their votes. Is this not hypocritical?

While some of you people’s age mates are asking for and working towards independence and autonomy some of una are asking to be making tea as VP in a “country” that knows you don’t belong....

What the heck is wrong with some of you people?

People are analyzing 2019 election with the outcome and fear of 2015 election but its wrong because in 2015 it was a christian against a muslin. Secondly it was a south south minority against a northern majority. But 2019 election is just the opposite two muslim from the same north. There wont be threat of if you vote against my candidate you will all die here which actually scared majority of igbos away from voting. The VP should better be from SE. Let the north do the fighting at there region.

Stop shouting ! The VP of PDP is open to everyone in the South that is qualified just like the PDP chairmanship was not micro zone to any region in the south but thrown up.

If you see justice on Uche being the PDP chairman and another Obi the VP of PDP, then we will see how heavy Atiku defeat will come.

They warned you people to leave the chairmanship of PDP to the sw so you will not be fighting like this but your usual lack of foresight will never allow you to see the bigger picture.

Simple!! He has tried Igbo more than three times by giving them the VP and they betrayed him and went for the highest bidder.

Only a man keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result.

He did a different thing and he got the positive result that he wanted.

Atiku will lose either way anyway..it just the margin of his loss that will be different under the different scenario of either an Ibo VP or Yoruba VP.

There's no fight my brother.

The stake is simple: Go with an Igbo VP, or go without the Igbos at all.

And, to burst your little burble, the number of registered voters in the south east is NOT the true reflection of the Igbo voting population. There is a vastly significant igbo voting population in ALL regions of the country. For starters, I've not voted in the south east since 2003.

Finally, your logic is both FLAWED and DISHONEST. Your definition of fairness is to get rewarded this year with a VP slot because you lost the party chairmanship slot last year. That's very silly. And I'm being nice here.

FYI, Ekwueme was schemed out during the PDP presidential primary of 1999 to make way for Obasanjo. Yet that did not make igbos to betray the PDP even once since the last 20 years. That's unlike what your people did to PDP in 2015 and are already scheming to do again in 2019 just because you lost chairmanship last year. Who does that? How about aiming for senate presidency? You guys have had the presidency for 8 year and the VP (in APC) for 4 years, while the Igbos have had neither.

Don't you see how dumb it sounds to stand there and try to pontificate about fairness to the igbos when you are the aggressor and the insensitive one here?
