I am prospecting a used tire recycling facility in Nigeria and i would like to know if there is a source for used tires.

I know that people change their tires everyday and some that cannot be repaired by the vulcanizer get discarded. But where do they get discarded? is there a know used tire dumping ground that can be reclaimed?

For the business to be profitable we need about 1million tires a year that can be recycled and turned into road tar and other products (door mat, mulch, etc)

please i would like to hear from my Nairalanders.

@op u ar on a/d right track. am directly n presently involve in retreiving bad tires frm all volgas in d island on govt directive. i think u have a big mkt if u ar serious. u pm me for more n clearer infos. done here.

This will be a very big business and i'm assuring good success if you can make it happen. you will get more than a million of discarded tire from lagos alone talk-less of Nigeria as a whole. both big and small tires. we can get you what u want on this tire business by contracting the sourcing to our company.
