IS THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE (IGP IDRIS) WORKING FOR THE PDP? HOW HE ALMOST MADE SEN. ADELEKE GOVERNOR BY MUSLIU BALOGUN TINUBU(DSP/RTD)

A close look at the roles of Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris in emerging political developments in the country leaves me with the suspicion that he has been compromised by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2019 general elections. Underrate the PDP and their desperation to return to power at your own peril. I heaved a sigh of relieve when Oyetola eventually emerged winner of the Osun governorship election, because from the IG's calculation, Adeleke was going to win, having paved the way for him.

Recall that few days to the Osun governorship election, the IGP in a manner that defied logic, resurrected a dead case against the PDP candidate. The case bordering on forgery and malpractice had been killed by the same Police over a year ago. The dusting of the case file was deliberately orchestrated to whip up sentiment against the APC and project the Party as desperate to retain power by all means possible. And that move worked magic in Osun, as the PDP exploited it by running to the media, alleging persecution. It took the intervention of President Buhari to save the collapse of the APC in the State.

If Saraki can (as widely reported), corner the sacked DG of the DSS, can he not do same with the IGP. Saraki was appointed the head of Adeleke's Campaign team and was bent on ensuring victory for the PDP. Knowing that the Police are with him, he recently boasted that he would show Lagos stakeholders how to defeat Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in Lagos. He now speaks as if he knows that 'he who is in him is greater'.
Examine the conduct of the Osun general election. There was no complaint of harassment, intimidation or over deployment of Police to the State by the PDP. This was because the PDP knew the ground work had already been concluded and that victory was sure.

The IGP carried out similar action few months ago. That move gave Saraki the undue popularity he currently enjoys. His attempted arrest at his residence was a script well written. While the Police were waiting to pick him up, Saraki, like a trained secret service agent, left his phones at home and sneaked out to avoid being tracked by the same Police. What a script. Saraki quickly ran to the Media and of course granted an International Press Conference. From nowhere, Saraki who had no plans of contesting the Presidential election, having pledged to support Tambuwal, started savoring ill-gotten popularity and decided to test it by contesting the Presidency.

Let's not forget how the same script played out in Dino Melaye, Ike Ekweremadu and Samuel Ortom's cases, all stakeholders of the PDP.
Repeatedly, the IGP has, in an attempt that could be seen as over zealousness, worked against the government that appointed him. He has done so brazenly by playing the cards of the PDP. Last week he invited Saraki, Ben Bruce and Dino Melaye, knowing full well the National Assembly would reconvene this week. In the coming days, I will not be surprise if new scripts are written and carefully executed for Atiku.

The IGP must however know that we, the supporters of the Government, are watching keenly and could occupy Louis Edet House if this double standing continues.

I CONCUR WITH THE AUTHOR COMPLETELY.
THE IG IS INDEED A MOLE !!!
JUST LIKE OSHIOMOLE COULD ALSO BE WORKING FOR THE OPPOSITION.

THE ACTIONS OF THE IGP/OSHIOMOLE ONLY ASSIST THE OPPOSITION .

IN ZAMFARA, OSHIOMOLE'S MEDDLESOMENESS IS NEGATIVELY AFFECTING THE PARTY ALREADY .
IN OSUN, IGP'S ACTS NEARLY COST APC THE STATE .
