Nigeria Must Rise To Positive Changes - Prince Auta Mathew by autam84(op): 6:21pm On Oct 11, 2018
I feel so sympathetic for a country where someone lives a particular elected position after a successful or an unsuccessful tenure and then moves to another i.e. a case study of Nigerian politics where state governors and other elected officers who have served for eight years or above run to the senate or other elected offices for many years in a country where millions are on ground that needs to be tested.
Nigerians specifically the youths its high time we say no to imposition, godfatherism, where a state governor or any national leader of a ruling party thinks he can impose a successor of the seat of power he/she occupies for some years without any positive impact on the poor masses, its also time we unite strongly irrespective of our tribal, religion and ethno-cultural affiliations so as to choose leaders not based on sentimental ground but rather for the good and benefit of the country.
Nigeria is a blessed country with so many resources but along the line with bad leaders who do not know how to harnessed or manage the resources for the betterment of the country, but rather full of themselves, selfish, greedy and bunch of looters called leaders.
Elections come and go but still yet no good leaders who will satisfy the desires of the poor masses but rather leaders who will always cause pains to the poor masses. The year 2019 is another year where Nigerians will be saddled with the responsibility of making decision on who will lead them for the next four (4) years in federal, state, and local government levels. I dearly call on all well-meaning Nigerians to make the decision wisely not based on religion sentiments but rather based on who will make Nigeria grow again in terms of job creation, economic development, welfare, education and infrastructural development, not looters and greedy personnel who care only about themselves and their immediate families.
We must woke up from our deep slumber where politicians tend to deceive the poor masses with little token during campaigns just to get their votes and thereafter forget about them till after four (4) years again so as to avoid the doomsday ahead, lets rise above little token of any kind and seek for development of our public schools, poor roads network, continual welfare of the masses, stability of electricity and many others. The wise one in his saying says “When there is a good leader on throne, the masses rejoices but when the reverse is the case, the masses will surely suffer.”
REJECTION OF FORMER PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN
The former President of Nigeria Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was in totality rejected by Nigerians in the year 2015, where his tenure was strongly attributed to corruption and above all incessant killings as the order of the day during the opposition campaigns. Thanks to the peace Ambassador who honourably states that “His ambition is not worth the blood of anybody” and thereby handover power to Gen. Muhammadu Buhari who is now President Muhammadu Buhari.
However, during Buhari’s three years tenure as the GCFR of Nigeria, Boko haram actually reduces but the country still suffers lots of incessant killings from Fulani herdsmen, kidnapping, hunger, monies recovers from looters not viable and many others.
Comparing the two administrations, it is imperative to state that even the Buhari administration have failed Nigerians just like Goodluck’s own was and as such Nigeria now needs to try another personnel come 2019. This change will continue just as it started with Jonathan until the right and unforgettable leaders who have the country and its masses at heart are raised.
ATIKULATING NIGERIA FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS
To those who want to now ATIKULATE rather than BUHARIATE, it’s a welcome development though but notes that when the country will not be well ATIKULATED as clamour for in the next four (4) years, we will also send ATIKULAR and his ATIKULATED cohort to Adamawa come 2023. And that’s how the game will continue until politicians know how to do the right thing in our dear country. Long Live Nigeria my dearest country.
