Was he tried? I totally doubt it. Because if his victim were tested and found to have been defiled as well as eye witness accounts, that's enough to have him sent to jail. But here once he's grated bail, and bribes the appropriate authorities, his case dies natural death.

Naija is a very very dangerous place for females.
We all know someone that has sexually assaulted women or been a victim of sexual assault.
My cousin was raped when she went for POST-UME in Uniben.

Our culture accepts and encourages such behaviour. Instead of helping victims, We brand victims derogatory tags like "runz girls", "slay queens", "ashawo" and all that. We have to do better.

Us men should rise up and protect our women.
Even if a girl is drunk and passed out, its not a reason to rape her
Even if you freely spent alot of money on a girl, its not a reason to force yourself on her
If someone entrusts their child into your care, do not sexually violate that child
If you find a stranded child, help the child
Masturbate everyday if that is what it takes to control yourself.

All other points are spot on, except "protecting our women", it should be protecting your family, ain't no way in hell I'm protecting someone equal to me, that's the duty of the police and the victims..
