Balarabe Musa, the first civilian Governor of Kaduna state on Thursday said former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s endorsement of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for the 2019 presidential election will amount to nothing because he (Obasanjo) is no longer relevant in the scheme of things.

Speaking in a chat with Daily Independent, Nusa said it is unfortunate that Atiku who wants to take over the Presidency in 2019 is already associating himself with failures who have messed up the country like Obasanjo.

I really think OBJ does not really have a giant stand as in previous elections. Besides, OBJ is smart and he knows that Atiku is bowing to him because he wants to clinch power and might no longer care after he has achieved his aim; so I do not see OBJ giving anything more than an endorsement.

-OBJ supported Shagari in 1979 & he won.
-OBJ supported Yar'Addua in 2007 & he won.
-OBJ supported Jonathan in 2011 & he won.
-OBJ supported Buhari in 2015 & he also won.
-OBJ now is also supporting Atiku despite their differences & of course he'll win.Buhari now is not a choice for Nigeria today

that means Atiku is better than a man who brought cellphone, internet, etc into Nigeria, he also cleared our debt and built a huge foreign reserve , if Atiku is better than him, then we will massively vote Atiku instead of the cattle mallam

Ofcourse Atiku will fail Nigeria woefully, if he becomes president, although I doubt if he can break the record in failure currently held by buhari. the handwriting is there on the wall for all to see. It's just that the current government has frustrated Nigerians so much that they are desperate to get rid of it. Exactly same scene that played out in the 2015 elections just that this time the desperation has never been more intense. Nigerians should for once use their heads and be brave and shun this sheepish crowd mentality. For crying out loud buhari and Atiku are not the only ones contesting elections. A vote for any of them is a vote for more pain and suffering.
