which huge igbo populations. i am indigene of lagos that work for inec in 2007 2011 2015 elections .i have seen all the facts sheets.
anybody that tells u igbos has up to 300 000 voters in lagos is a liar. out of all the accreditation list for voters you cant find up to 20 igbos in a polling both.

pdp wrote election result in south east 2015 they allocate 97% to themselve with use of federal might. now it is the turn of apc to write result for pdp with the use of federal might.
atiku will be lucky to get 25% in lagos.

if you re in lagos just show me at least 3 local govt u will see pdp posters on the wall

Now this current pair would make the igbos have to prove that they are the most populous tribe and are scattered all around Nigeria. I remember last election in Lagos it was PDP 45% and APC 55%. Those who claimed that South West is locked down for APC have historical memory.
The last generally presidential election in 2015 shows that the Votes in South West was shared between APC and PDP despite the high hope for Buhari.

2018 is a different ball game. Buhari so called integrity and corruption fight are all fairytale and the citizens can't wait to vote him out. The last Osun election can attest to that

Choosing the VP from the South East is a brilliant decison cos from the last election it was obvious there was low turn out of voters from the East. A VP slot will definitely encourage them to turn out in large numbers and vote

So if SW isnt locked down for APC why is every state in SW under APC? Why has PDP not won just one state? Even in Osun, that you could have had easily, you failed to pull off a negotiation deal.

SW is going APC come 2019, no doubt about that, and the margin might be crazy because the stakes will be higher. But my worry for Atiku is that while I have no doubt that Peter Obi will help him in the SS/SE, I am not so sure he will deliver NE. If Buhari beats him silly in NE then he is toast.

That's why I said Atiku needs to win NE, and I mean win BIG, else he will certainly lose. Peter Obi factor will mobilize a lot of igbos to vote for PDP (though his electoral value is shaky considering that his candidate came third during the last election). A lot would also depend on Obiano and APGA's posture concerning his candidacy because as it stands, APGA is the Alpha and Omega in Anambra, though I believe they will vote for him. Like I said earlier, the SW will definitely go APC, just that one can't be sure how large the margin will be. If Yorubas also want to play the 'our son' card, then PDP's nose would be fatally bloodied in the region. The Igbos would have to really turn up in large numbers for Atiku, as much as or even more than they did for Jonathan; they will definitely rig some of their votes again just like the did the last time for GEJ. SW PDP (especially the Yorubas) would also have to really turn up for Atiku to get some decent numbers in the region, but that would depend on how they generally accept this news of Peter Obi VP candidacy (if they receive it with an ambivalent 'i don't care attitude', that will be all that APC would need to completely dominate the polls in the region). I don't expect the YOruba PDP members in the SW to be as fired up as their igbo PDP counterparts though, for obvious reasons. Let's see how it goes. Very interesting months ahead of us all.

pdp lagos survived from the fundings of federal govt. now the funds have been cut out.

I have friends who are Yoruba PDP even some of them contesting, They are just concentrating on their own ticket and they wont even campaign for Atiku-Obi because attaching yourself to a PDP who is seen not to have Yorubas interest at heart is like political suicide

PDP President, VP, National chairman non is from SW

And from the time table Presidential comes first so the SW PDP are careful not to tie themselves to the PDP presidnetial campaign but just campaign locally for themselves
