I had this experience when I was serving in Kebbi.... We just decided to visit our colleagues in another village. We had to take a canoe to convey us across a river.
My friend who is from Rivers state was so excited that he even collected a paddle from one of the boys taking us across.... I was terribly scared...

All through our stay in the other village, I wasn't myself.... My thought was centered on how I'm going to make it across the river... That experience no be here oooo

You are not alone my brother, in fact I left that state one hour after collecting my certificate. The only celebration we did was two days before POP, we bought one big goat for lodge roasted it together & chop am with some malt while chatting about where we can meet in the future

A corps member identified as Joseph Adebayo, who turned up for a picnic to celebrate the end of his service year, reportedly got drowned.


It was gathered that the corps member who was attending a picnic drowned on Thursday in Gubi river at the outskirts of Bauchi, after a faulty canoe conveying him and his colleagues to the picnic location capsized.

While the other two corps members were rescued by villagers, 26-year-old Adebayo got drowned. The corpse of the late corps member who is from Ogun state, was recovered on Friday and deposited at the mortuary of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi.

Only a lost heart/head would see a moving train and jump on its path. Not withstanding, whoever dies on a train track as that destined for him/her. Ever wonder why someone would have earphone plugged in his ears and work innocently on a train track and get knocked down? Why it's called Qadr. We all have one written for us and we are leaving it.
