Both Big Benz and your Lewa have the same statistics in the UCL last season. Both with 5 goals and 1 assist. But big Benz was more decisive. He scored twice against ur Bayern in the semis to send them ur team parking. He also scored in the final, not just any final but the final of the biggest club competition in the world.

The organiser of the award used his UCL performance as a yardstick to select him.

Nothing you say will change the fact that those were fluke goals. Forever remembered, not for Benzema's brilliance but for the stupidity and folly of the goalkeepers involved. Karius alone sealed his place in football infamy with that gaffe.

You say he made the list as a result of his performances in the CL. Hahaha, Benzema couldn't even make the official UEFA CL squad of the season! He wouldn't even get into a Top 5 list of Real's best performers in the CL last season. Kroos and Navas were all more instrumental in Madrid winning the CL.

Imagine a striker starting for arguably the best team in the world scoring a grand total of 10 goals in a season. They said it was Ororo who was holding him back. Baba don comot now and Benzema is still the same guy he has always been.

Between, Madrid is not arguably the best team in the world. Madrid is the best team in the world. No argument here, even Eden Hazard knows that.

Kai? We don really sign and promoted below average players well well in d past oh. From Gago, Cincinho, Miguel Torres, Diogo, i hate Diogo like mad. Mejia, Pavon, Woodgate, Gravesen, Drenthe, Portillo, Lassana Diarra, Canavaro, yes he was average at Real Madrid. Robinho and Baptista i don't know where to classify them.

Campelo came with Canavaro and Emerson as a quick fix but our football was terrible. The only good thing that capello did that i like was to bench Ronaldo for Van Nistelrooy. though i like him but he became too fat for my liking.

Van Nistelrooy was a beauty to watch at Real Madrid. I never knew he could do leg over prior to when he came to Madrid. He was a complete striker. Good with the head, leg and position play. His hold up play was second to none then.


Our Galactico era was not too good. No good structure and no balance at all. Zidane, Beckham, Figo, Ronaldo, Raul, Carlos no balance at all. 2005-2010 were very bad for me as a Madridista. Thank God Mourinho came. I will forever be grateful to Mourinho.
