I have been wondering if its right for churches to advertise their church. Alot of churches especially penticoastals put up adverts inviting people to come to their church for miracle and breakthrough. Is this right |

Nothing wrong with that at all. But be aware that advertising a church is far different from evangelism. The former is for the growth of your local church (building) and not necessarily the growth of Christianity.... while the later is solely for Christ. The former for the most part disintegrates the church through superiority complex, while the later unifies the church. Your church may not be suitable for the person you are inviting. And that's why it's strongly advised you just preach Christ to him/her and go your way. It is by your attitude that people will want to know which church brings out the best in you. Everything may be lawful, but not everything is beneficial. |
