Every Retrenched workers from the days of Obasanjo and Atiku down to Jonathan are smiling, courtesy of a man who understands what it means to put a smile to those that actually deserves it through hard work.

The Nigeria Airways pensioners verification centers are in Lagos, Kano, and Enugu.

The verification venue in Lagos is the Sky-Power Catering Center in Ikeja with ABC (former Nigeria Airways office) Bank Road acting as the verification venue for the Kano.

The Enugu will hold the verification from the 15th to the 18th of October at the Villa Toscana Hotel located at N0.1 Aguleri Street, Independent Layout.

Once you are verified, payment follows almost immediately.

Buhari has done so much for this country ( even though he still falls short of expectations) given the meagre resources at his disposal occasioned by PDP's perennial dismemberment of the nation's treasury during those locost years.

These positive things happen here and there but hardly do they find their way to the public because..

1. There seems to be a media gangup against the government to sensor such news that seem to promote her image.

2. The president's media and publicity team aren't living up to their billing.

3. Preponderance of nitwits on social media who tend to be attracted mire to bad news and publicise same with relish.

Regardless, I believe this country is on the right course and with Baba as the head and and as Osinbajo succession likely, we will get there sooner than later.

This is what I always tell people that keep supporting Buhari. I will not pay 145 Naira for petrol while you pay 40 Naira. I will not buy dollar for 360 Naira while you pay 200 naira. My neighbour (and elderly lady) had to postpone her trip abroad and travel down to kano for this, i really hope it would be worth it cos she isnt even sure if the money would still be paid. Heard a lot of heartbreaking stories from her, right from Obasanjo who liquidated Nigeria Airways and blatantly refused to settle the workers in Nigeria but settled those abroad due to the laws over there. Many people have died without receiving their payment and Jonathan who was willing to pay backed out cos the then minister of aviation tripled the figures.

Now succour had come for them, i hope they are paid soonest, #ThisIsNigeria #smh

How many times will they do verification within 2years? Even they were forced to open new gtbank account last year but yet nothing comes out. Hope they will be paid this time around. Gratuities and pensions withheld for years. Even their arrears that was paid by yaradua was part payments and uptil now, it is still one verification or the other since. The irony is that others that served in different countries have received their full benefit but only those in Nigeria suffering. I pity the family of those that have lost their beneficiaries of the payment because to me that's what their so called verification is for- to know who have died and the money diverted. Buhari is not a capitalist and truly he does not like cheating people. Thanks for his caring fatherly gesture. Imagine the trauma that PDP had caused these people ..They got billions to share among themselves for 2015 elections but didn't deem it fit to settle legitimate claims of people like this. Only God can forgive them. I only pity those in the north east if they vote for PDP ,Boko Haram will overun the territory again due to massive corruption.. Arms funds were shared and soldiers were forced to run for their lives .No man in his right sense would pray for such a reckless lifestyle. Time will tell.
