Residents of Agura in Ikorodu area of Lagos have raised an alarm yet again after a shrine alleged to be a ritual house was discovered in the area. According to reports, the issue was reported to the authorities and the suspects were arrested by the police.

It was gathered that the suspects were released the next day and are said to be roaming the streets till now. 

A social media user sent in the report. Read below; 

Below are the pictures from a Ritual House we discovered in our Community situated at House 7, Road H, Zone C, Dot water, Agura, Ikorodu Lagos, and immediately the case was reported to Lagos State Neighborhood Watch Imota, Ikorodu Branch, and later referred to Imota Police Station, Ikorodu Division which was again handed to Ijede Area N Command, the Prime Suspects were arrested.

But to my surprise, the following day the suspects were all released and up till now they are all roaming on the street of the community, while the Ritual House is still in existence.

We implore to help us appeal to the Police Force to give the CDA reports on the issue which were formerly reported to the Area N command with CDA Letter Head Paper, because the Police have kept mute since then.

Since when has owing a shrine become a crime in nigeria? It's only a crime if the place of worship becomes an avenue for criminal activities.

This is not nice at all. Nigerian police force is so corrupt and wicked that they will release the real suspects and ritualists then pick guys from the streets to replace them

The biggest mistake I made was listen to a family friend who adviced me to buy government land in Ikorodu with the promise of a 4th mainland bridge being built to link the area with VI, also plans to build another sea port. It's been some years now and nothing has been started or concluded, meanwhile badoo and ritualists have been committing some atrocious crimes that I'm thinking of leasing the place to farmers. I curse the guy who talked me into buying it.

Please be informed that the police(The world over) operate by a given set of law and not by mere speculation or sentiment.
There is nothing incriminating enough here to warrant arrest talk less of detaining the suspect hence why there were released.
If there were to be any evidence to the contrary, am sure the suspect would have been charge to court.

In as much as I hate fetishism, but pls can you tell me in which of the constitution that supported this ur above opinion.
If churches and mosque can be built in our streets there is no constitutional right to prevent shrine.
Unless there is urgent needs which might........
