HopeAtHand:The Enugu Airport will get the attention it deserves once your Ikwerre brother is out of the way, his agenda has already failed. And you better tell him to stop claiming Igbo, cos we would embarrass him next time he tries that nonsense. Once the right infrastructures are put in place, Igbos who are using Lagos, Abuja and Ph airport will out of convenience take Enugu Airport route, and save themselves the stress of stopping over in non-Igbo lands. No Nigerian group have more travellers using airports than Ndiigbo. Common sense dictates that our international airport should have the biggest traffic in Nigeria once logistics and infrastructures are sorted out. Nigeria have spent billions on Ph, Lagos and Abuja airports, and those airports were also amongst the ones Oduah renovated, yet they still received further renovation under this current regime, and still look third world . However, Igbophobic entities like you expect AIIA that was abandoned by FG until Odua stepped in, to suddenly look world class, despite current and past neglect it has suffered? The funds must be shared and AIIA taken care of. That's what will happen, and that's what Ndiigbo will demand. |

pazienza:It is better for you to continue with your Biafra agitation and leave Nigeria for Real Nigerians.. Expecting Nigeria to spend billions on people who aren't interested in being Nigerians is simply an optical illusion. And FYI, Atiku will lose woefully and bury your dream of Igbo VP. And as expected, after that normal IPOB service will resume. |

pazienza:Gbam....did you see that ikwerre boy turning mellow....Ikwere isn't Igbo they are minority ..in the case of Biafra ... They wouldn't be in Biafra , in the regional government they would not be there....this would enable ijaw to deal with them |

Stop overworking yourself with fantasies. Lagos International airport is serving the entire SW which is far bigger than SE. Kano International airport is serving the entire North which is 10x bigger than SE. PH International airport is already serving the SE and SS which is very OK because the entire land area is not even up to SW. No FEDERAL GOVT, even if it is your brother will repeat resources in another international airport outside the one in PH, anywhere else in the entire old eastern region except it is purely sponsored by the state GOVT. Does NE have a single international airport? It is because the NW international airport in Kano is feeding the zone. Stop fantasizing. Capital projects are done by planning and not by mere sentiments. PH International Airport is now serving the SE and SS. Case closed. |

OMANBALA1:I wonder if this idiot believes most of the things he says? Peter Obi tried to draw traffic to Enugu? From Agulu or where? What will these clowns not say on nairaland? Most of these Peter Obi clowns are deluded. btw Ebonyi building an airport is laughable. If any state needs an airport it’s Abia/Anambra state. Hopeathand before you come here talking nonsense, an airport in Abia state will drop Air traffic in PH by over 40%. You are bragging as If Ikwerre people contribute up to 5% of PH traffic. Even owerri despite not being an international airport is competing favorably with PH airport. |

HopeAtHand:This exactly why I said that until Ndiigbo become ruthless in rejecting and denouncing all attempts by these leeches called in Igboids in SS to impersonate and grab our political shares and infrastructures in Nigeria. We will never recover fully from our current political quagmire. Just listen to this particular one, this his mindset is same for all of them. They see the Igbo tag as an opportunity to politically exploit us at will. The Nigerians would pick them for political posts in our stead, because they know they can always claim they represent us, and our people out of stupidity would accept them. But Nigerians know that these people are Igbophobic, and hence more comfortable having them represent us, it is sheer stupidity on our part to accept their representation. We should reject them outrighly and violently denounce any attempt by anyone to call them Igbos. That way, we ensure they can only have those appointments as SS minorities, where they would have their fellow bitter minorities in SS to fight with for those posts. |

HopeAtHand:Atiku or Buhari, Ikwerre remains a minority non Igbo group. And no Ikwerre-Ijaw Ph airport will serve Ndiigbo. We are a major voting bloc and will always get our demands met once well channelled. Just sit down and watch. Nigeria has no option but to spend in Igboland. |

EVERY IGBO MAN HAS AN OBLIGATION TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL AT NSUKKA ENUGU NORTH. THE TERMINAL HAS ALREADY BEEN DRAWN AND JUST NEED TO BE PUT TO THE POLITICAL PROCESS. AHEAD OF 2019, IT IS WISE FOR NDIIGBO TO NOTE PROJECTS THAT WILL BE BENEFICIAL TO THE SOUTH EASTERN REGION. WE ARE STARTING WITH THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL TERIMNAL AT ENUGU NORTH TO SERVE THE SE, KOGI, BENUE AND TARABA. I hope Chino, Abagworo, Omanbala, Globemoney, NnamdiJonathan CJRANE, investnow2013, spyder880, ILoveAnambra Raker300 Ezeagu pazienza have noted this

onuebonyi:PH airport is serving SS. NE is not an economic zone, that's why it was appended to NW. You really have guts, coming here to compare SE with a war torn zone like NE, while you impersonate Anambra. SE is an economic zone with Aba and Onitsha. And we will get our International airport working. We need it both for economic and group pride reasons. Go and write it down somewhere. AIIA will be made to work. You will have to look for non Igbo traffic for your Ikwerre-Ijaw airport. |

Until Ikwerre people apologize/return those abandoned properties, any attempt by misguided igbos to call them igbos will be a ruse. And that is why I didn’t take Nnamdi Kanu seriously when he started adding “igweocha” to his Ipob. We will never act like those abandoned properties never happened |

pazienza:don't mind the brain washed people from rivers . They are jelous of everything Ndiigbo do .they are been fed crumbs by their masters... They don't even have a pro ikwerre group whose aim is to build ikwerre or dish out ideas for the betterment of the soposed ikwerre land.. They rather channel their hate to igbo... When two or more ikwerre are gathered . Ogogoro and igbo want to take our oyel is their discussion... Go to any Ikwerre group and see for urself.. |

We are well aware of Wike and Ikwerre plans to grab and hijack Igbo presidential campaign by claiming Igbos in 2023. We are aware of Wike plans to help Buhari finish his tenure, so that by 2023, he would come out claiming Igbo. We are out for you lots. You will receive the greatest embarssment of your lives. Better tell Wike to stick to your minority SS selves. SS already had their chance at presidency with GEJ. The next time it's coming to SS it will be to Akwa-Cross, Edo,and Urhobo/Isoko groups in that other . You will have to slug it out with your fellow minorities. |
| Re: . by onuebonyi: 11:26am On Oct 20, 2018 |
Let us use your analogy: Lagos is an economic zone PH is an economic zone Kano is an economic zone Onitsha is an economic zone Aba is an economic zone Enugu? You can see that airports are sited in viable cities, why would you want anyone to waste money in a non economic zone? I support PMB on its aviation policy. Even Owerri which is not an economic zone has more traffic than Enugu airport. WTF are you smoking? Lagos, PH, Abuja and Kano are the only 4 qualified international airports in Nigeria. Sentiments does not cut it. pazienza: |

GTFOH you inconsequential identity crisis ridden minority. Your input/opinions are not needed here, when TRUE Igboids like our Anioma brothers who majorly embrace and proudly identify with their Igboness make contributions here... we listen cause they are one of us. And not some irrelevant product from the oasis of shamefully recycled history, go Bleep off to Benin and make sure you denounce every and any thing about you that has any semblance of Igbo in It. |

pazienza:So you know that is their plan. Amaechi who after 8 years never identified with Igbo is now dressing as Igbo. We know their plans, we are waiting for them. Any Igbo man fooling himself with Ikwerre people is just wasting his time. There are many igboid groups in Rivers which Ndigbo should identify with instead of wasting their time with a hateful, lazy and underachieving Ikwerre minority group |

pazienza:Honestly Igbos need to stop this political correctness Bullsh.it and drop the "Igbo bu ofu" mentality when dealing with this identity crisis afflicted clowns. For one those Ikwerres are completely irrelevant and have no real significance to the greater Igbo nation. All this idiots who extend the olive branch of us been one(case in point Ipob clowns that constantly embarrass us) need to stop...when you stop feeding them the attention they obviously don't get, they will get the message and be relegated to the minority status they already assume. And this strictly extends to the opportunistic bas.tards like Amaechi and his likes that choose to be Igbo when they want to garner political favor, and then turn around the next day to spite us when our people in the spirit of love foolishly play the "big good brother" crap. Enough of the nonsense already. |
| Re: . by Nobody: 11:39am On Oct 20, 2018 |
globemoney:I have never seen an Igbo man in real life that identifies with ikwerri people as fellow Igbos. There is a real gap between the real world and social media, all these ikwerri nonsense starts and ends on social media, no right thinking Igbo man refers to ikwerri as Igbo. |

Brainwashed people who can't different their left from their right... Our oyel our oyel still there is no meaningful development over there. The Igbo they hate so much contribute a lot to rivers as a whole... While is wike building markets in Rivers. For who exactly? Oyel people?... Imagine if the ijaws or the ogoni takeover rivers state..... Afta all the marginalization and Ill treatment meted on them by the ikwerres.. We shall see what will be left of them.. |

WE THANK GOD FOR BLESSING US WITH STELLA ODUAH, WHO MADE IGBO MEN TO SEE THAT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT CAN ALSO BE STATIONED AT ENUGU. |

onuebonyi:Enugu is the capital of Igboland. Until Onitsha and Aba gets an International airport, AIIA is enough for us. From Enugu to Onitsha if the road is repaired is about 1:45mins. That's less than the time spent travelling within some states like Kogi. Enugu will serve Onitsha and Aba. Until those places get international airports. Igboland(SE) is an economic zone , it's our prerogative to choose where want the international airport for our economic region be located,, we have chosen Enugu to represent us, we sure will not accept an airport outside our region. . We will not be compared to NE, a war torn zone. There fore, there will be nothing like SS/SE, unless such amalgam will be under Igbo dominion, seeing as the tail (minorities) cannot wag the dog (majority). That's how it's going to be. Ph is a dead zone. A future theatre of war between Ikwerre and their Ijaw unholy bedmates. Ndiigbo wants none of it. Mark it somewhere. We have rejected Ph international airport. |
