Some pastors like Dr. DK Olukoya of MFM don't lay hands on their members before they fall. A single prayer point makes them fall and shake vigorously on the floor. How do u want to explain this? undecided

In my own opinion, it is pretence I don't think there is anything like fall under the anointing. I need a biblical affirmation of falling under the anointing.

I've fallen under the anointing once. But, most people who fall frequently are obviously possessed. Because there are only three reasons why the anointing hit on someone. 1) To free you from evil manipulation. 2) To connect with your spirit. 3) When it come across an evil/possessing spirt.

And u didn't quote any scripture to prove or back it up. Just stories. 1 Timothy 4:7 wld show u something cool.

My relative who is a pastor has taught me the trick they use

they will stylishly place their hand on your head and raise your jaw up and stretch it up to the limit. Breathing becomes difficult and the level of oxygen in the brain goes down as their time of praying progress. After 3mins+, they will start spinning you. with little oxygen in the brain and spinning effect on body balance, you will fall under the anointing grin

Not only the cameramen crew. Even we the instrumentalists don’t fall under anointing, we are always busy playing anointing songs to ginger the pastor.

it baffles me also, but what I usually notice is that the screaming and falling under anointing usually happens to the female folks. Personally I have not seen any man fall under laying of hands. Maybe women-demons are...

The mechanism of falling under anointing is simple to understand. It is mesmerism or to use the modern term, hypnosis that help pastors (consciously or not) bring their flock to that position.

It is an altered state of consciousness natural to all of us. We all pass through that stage before sleeping. You can provok it via music (praise and worship) and repetitive fascinating words (prayer).

Everybody does not easily get hypnotized. It depends on the ability of the hypnotizer and specific attributes like imagination, ability to Vizualise.

This does not me however that only gullible fall for it. It actually tends to be the contrary.
